  • BPD sounds like fun... My doctor mentioned it yesterday... but I don't like her. lol

  • I told my doc that some of what I read about BPD sounds like me, he told me if I truly feel I relate to this, he recommended the book "I hate you, don't leave me" to read before our next appointment if I have extra time. Which is in like 5 weeks. I seen that this book is mention here too on your blog. I guess my quick question is, what has been the most helpful book for you? I want to assume this one, yet I ask just to make sure LOL.

  • Your balls are unimaginably big for having the courage to post a video like this.

I apologize. I could not think of a better way to put it.

  • Bpd fellwos, you should all come and talk to us other on Mapofmates!

  • great vid i subscribed x

  • Hi, Your videos are really good for people looking up info on this. It's really nice of you to share your story with everyone, it's comforting to know your side of it.

I'm pretty sure my boyfriend has this, he defiantly needs help and he's being very mean to me lately.. so I don't really know what to do about that. I'll keep watching your videos and try look for an answer :-)

  • I've been doing a lot of research on BPD lately, because I believe I may have it. I seem to fit all the criteria. What would you recommend that a person do if they wanted to get themselve's diagnosed?

I mean, sure, I fit all the criteria, but I feel like they could all just stem from things that I've taught myself over the years. The emotional side is tricky even, seeing as I feel like I hide that stuff a lot (up until recently at least, emotions have been bursting off more lately).

  • This alll sounds like me.....

  • I have had this since i was 6 ..and im 19 now it sucks. im glad you recieved help. =]

  • THanks for the video! I was wondering with you combinations of drugs, how much do they cost? IS it expensive?

  • Thank you so much for this video! The examples really allowed me to understand BPD better. I was just diagnosed with BPD after a misdiagnosis of Bi Polar for 13 years. Thanks again so much!

  • at least you have a boyfriend... I can't get a relationship and it's been like this for as long as I can remember.

  • BPD is a SYMPTOM of the real problem - psychological wounds from early-childhood trauma. See sfhelp.org/gwc/gwc.htm (by a veteranj family therapist)

  • God! You're cute!

  • listening to this i'm like waiiit, this sounds like me. like all of it. i'm currently in the process of getting a diagnosis for aspergers but i'm starting to think it's not that and it's something else instead. i really shouldn't attempt to self diagnose though. good video :)

  • your really sweet lol :) good video , thankyou :)

  • I'm not trying to be funny, but most of these symptoms aren't very away from the average female. Are women more likely to have this disorder or are both sexes equally represented?

  • @thedanizblog i did have impulsive behaviour like bulimia, permiscuity with men (that lasted about 6 or 7yrs) and self medicated like overdosing on my medication. I think its important to do things like dbt or medication but having a normal life like social or working thats important. Im quiet but its not healthy to not leave my house. Thanks for subb for me.

  • @thedanizblog i was lucky i got diagnosed straight away since i fitted the whole critieria and i was blessed to get help. When i was 17 i would get hyper and run away from home and rome the streets worry my family. Id lock myself in my room crying. I was in and out of hospital for a year. I have done dbt. Its been a nightmare and i feel alone and mis understood. I have found comfort in ppl like u. Its a horrible disorder but iv gone back to study and working so im not going to let it beat me.

  • Why has this video 6 thumbs down?!

  • im bipolar..but this sound more like me!! ALL of it...should i tell my doc that or just keep it to my self??? I hate talking bout it so idk what i should do?

  • I have been suffering with BPD for 23 years going on 24. I need to start talking to someone who is living with the same thing. Because it honestly sucks.

  • Lamictal is one dangerous drug...Watch your liver, and get used to a pile of weight gain with the prozac and risperdal..........

  • lmao!! you are such an "AA"-er ... "yea, i can definitely "relate" to that one...."

    great video tho!

  • jesus heals all! you can be free in jesus 100% truth

  • im totally the same i always feel someones having ago at me and getting mad at me x

  • you are SO unbelievably gorgeous. like. please share?

  • I seriously think I have this... I'll send you an inbox message to let you know everything and maybe you could tell me if I need to talk to my doctor :)

  • Hey, I just found out about BP a few months ago.. It's what I have and I foudnd this info very helpfull.. thank you

  • Hi Dani, i have bpd too, hope you are doing ok x

  • really good vid.. keep it up :)

  • I have pretty much every symptom of BPD,

but i can't do anything about it,

because my parents are convinced i'm a hypochondriac,

because when i was in my first year at primary,

i used to hate being in class,

    i thought everybody hated me,

so i would scream under a desk and get dragged out,

or pretend to be sick so that i could run to the school nurse,

one minute i would be so hyper that i talked so fast that nobody got what i was saying, next i'm suicidal, and nobody believes me .... :(

  • you are to cuit

  • I just really want to let you know that I can relate so much and this has helped me in so many ways. the emotions that are up and down...either there or not is a huge issues for me...and abandonment. thank u for making so many videos explaining! :)

  • Thank you so much for your braveness to speak out!

    Greetings, Amy Rose.

  • It's quite fun to follow the sparkles.

  • that's a very nice video of you :D :D keep up the good work ;)

  • life is a rollercoaster one minute you're queen of the world, the next minute you're breaking dishes, burning attire in the bathtub and planning how you'll kill yourself

  • I loved your "not want to break your cellphone" joke! :D

Did you rewarded yourself with a new IPhone? :D

  • @vincentgrit Thanks! I got a Samsung Vibrant. I think it's even better than the iPhone. :)

  • Hi - I loved you vid. Couple of questions.

Please can you let me know where you got the Criteria from?

Also what meds are you on now?

I've been on so many different type over the last 11 years and none have made a shred of difference.

    Thanks :-)

  • @nice9irl1980 I got the criteria from the book "I Hate You - Don't Leave Me". It's a good book on BPD. I take Lamictal, Risperdal, Prozac and BusPar. I had tried medication for years and it was never effective until I actually got on a combo of meds.

  • @thedanizblog

God, so many meds, ugh, good luck getting off them. You're calcifying your brain... ugh I don't want to preach.

It might be too late for you.

Good luck though. Incidentally, I learned a lot about BPD diagnosis, and maybe it applies to me... I'm definitely not going to take drugs for it though.

  • @thedanizblog I have that book!

  • @thedanizblog I have that book (I hate you- don't leave me). I'm going to be evaluated to see if I'm borderline (we're pretty sure I am). The vid is great girl.

  • good for you

  • Hello... thanks for posting your thoughts and experiences... I'm sure you are helping many... ox

  • I think I have this and I want to jump off the reversing falls bridge. I want to die. Can't get help.

  • @Axlegun Yeah I know it is hell untreated. Why can't you get help?

  • @lambarini Wow thank you! :)

  • Sister this is very interesting. You are revealing yourself which is hard in itself. Let me know if i can be of any assistance to helping you in any way spreading the message of this disorder. By now you know i'm not lost for words lol

  • sorry i got a bit of a late start watching your videos, i know since we've added, you've updated! i will definately make some more time to just sit back, watch, comment, and support! no matter what i am going through, i'm here for you! i loved your video, it was very informal and detailed and i think not only has it helped many people but it will only continue to help even more! and remember people, no self diagnosing! loved it, really and keep in the fight!

  • I can't believe how long I've been aware of this and never really put two and two together till watching your video. I'm pretty sure I have this and I'm almost definitely certain my bf has it.. but his has to be something else on top of BPD.. just wanted to say thank you (: I subbed and am going to look back through your vids!! hope you are doing great!

  • @firefwi Thank you so much for the sub and the comment. I hope my video was helpful.

  • If you'd like to know what the evening email called "shades of grey" was about - watch the first 1:45 of this video.

    Dani, nicely done as usual.

  • @clayewi Thank you. :-D

  • Thank you for putting yourself out there for others.

    Many blessing to you!

    ~ Melania

  • hey Thumbs up for your video!

I suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder myself! I got it pretty much under controle now ..

you are amazing for doing this ...

  • Some people I detest...like I couldn't wait to get them out of my life. And then there are some I got so fed up with, and others that just angered me. Labels suck, but with my diagnosis I have learned to look for the grey. Never before have I seen the grey, known what it look like, or even thought it was an option. Now, I am making that effort. I am still locked into my way of thinking, I cannot escape. I admire you for these videos. It makes it much easier to acknowledge.

  • You have impressed me with how you are facing your challenges (everyone has them) head on. Way to go. My medium is journaling and I think this is YOUR medium. I would like to know sometime how this has helped you.

  • @rollercoasterplus It is so helpful! I don't feel so alone because when I talk about what I am going through I get comments from people telling me how they have experienced the exact same thing. I also get a lot of comments from people telling me how I help them not feel so alone in their struggles so it makes me feel good that I can help people. Do you have a blog?

  • if it's not too personal.. what medication are you on? just to compare with mine... thanks.

  • @DocStrange0123 Risperdal, Prozac, Lamictal and BuSpar. Check out my medication blog. What meds are you taking?

  • @thedanizblog ok. I'm taking Trankimazin 1mg (3 a day) + Valdoxan (2 a day) + Distraneurine (2 a day) + Deprax (1a day, night)... The doctor is taking meds out 'cos I'm quite better,

  • @DocStrange0123 I'm so happy for you that you are getting better. :)

  • @thedanizblog Thank you ^^ :)

  • Great Vlog, Dani! You did an excellent job itemizing the criteria and how they apply to your symptom issues. Quick Reminder: Kreisman and Strauss have a new book: "Sometime I Act Crazy." I think you'll enjoy it, along with others I've mentioned to you. Be kind to your phone! --Baron

  • I like this video more so than most video's I've see because it explains all the different criterions for BPD. Though all the criterions are in my information for the bpd disorder, I try not to think about it too much. I can relate to what you've said about each one. I have the issues with alcohol as well and it can be touch. Stay strong. :)

  • Cute ;)

  • Hi Dani! I just stumbled upon your channel and I can relate to a lot of what your share, namely the cell phone breakage (these poor things are an easy target when you're angry). I'm totally BPD and I'm blessed with a few co-disorders. Yay! I have a good personal coach and I hope I'll find a way to have a happier and more functional life, cuz I lost everything because of this condition. Thanks for your contribution here. You're young and vibrant, you'll make it. Keep shining!

  • Great video girl!!

  • Thanks!

  • I came across your channel just because I searched for extrapyramidal symptoms and saw your yay! medications video. I cannot relate at all to how your are feeling but I just think that this vlog thing will do good for you as it will let your express yourself. I wish you luck and hope you get better and better. God Bless :)

  • @agassodame Thank you! You are sweet :-)

  • what meds are you taking?

  • Risperdal, Prozac, Lamictal and BuSpar. Check out my medication blog. What meds are you taking?

  • @thedanizblog they have me on lexapro. I don't want to be on any of the mood stabilizers. ya know

  • As someone else who has BPD, don't give up. As hard as things get, you can't give up. Take care.

  • I won't. Thank you! :-)
