This edit is amazing. The sound of that opening just blows me away. And it is so good to see the colours restored to the way they were before the awful special editions. Now where is empire strikes back? We've been waiting since 2010!

I always thought Princess Leia's ship not being visible as the Star Destroyer flew over was because the SD is accelerating on her ship, indeed in the next shot the blockade runner appears a lot closer to the SD than the new clip of it being visible would seem to suggest it is, a visual disconnect for me there.

@skycaprob in the extended universe there are beams all over and under to shiffle the shipd or anything into the hangar bay

@skycaprob Those are 2 small hangar bays inside the main docking bay, those are to dock shuttles and other small craft and to recover TIE fighters.. the "glow" is the atmospheric retention field.. in all hangars in StarWars open to space you can see such glowing lines in the hangar 's border with space , thats where a field is wich keeps the air inside but at the same time allows ships to pass through.. also is suposed to have shielding in millitary ships

@sparrowlt i know that im a fan of starwars. played every almost every single game. im on about the two deveses that look like thrusters in front of the starship hanger itself on the outer hull infront of the hanger. i think they are either thrusters of some sort or more lickly when i think about it tractor beam generators. i know they are on the front of the ship but im sure to get a disabled ship in u would need them on the bottom aswell.

@skycaprob Oh those cilinders in front of the docking bay.. while they do look like thrusters i think they certainly aint.. because in the Mk.2 ISD where those two are there are 2 different round structures, round but wich doesnt look like a thruster at all.. my guess is that they are sensors or tractor beam proyectors.. probably to pull ships inside the hangar or help docking shuttles/fighters (In all StarWars simulators all fighter landings are done automatically with tractor beams)

Having seen this film about 800,000 times this is by far the best representation of this film I have ever seen. Love the color correction, the balance is precise! Adywan has been doing the very obvious not only visually, but with solid musical cues that tie all the films together. Can't wait to see the finished Empire project!

Things I like about Adywan's Star Wars Revisited:

- the whole movie is even more refined than the official DVD version

- the Imperial March when the Death Star is introduced

- R2D2's motions are smoother

Things I don't like:

- the (in)famous "Han shot first" scene has been turned into "nobody shoots at all" and Greedo just spontaneously explodes

- the dialogue with Jabba has been omitted

- an alternate take of the Millennium Falcon taking off, much less spectacular than the original, is used

@DevilMaster I think you need to watch it again. Han shoots exactly the way he shot in the original. The Jabba scene used almost the same dialogue as the Greedo scene so it was redundant and the Falcon taking off is the same as the official DVD version as i didn't change anything here.

there may not be sound in space, but the docking clamps securing to the ships hull would reverberate through the ship, and make a sound inside the ship, even tho there is none outside... besides, its star wars, they have lightsabers and death stars, who cares if there is sound in space or not
