sounds good but try doing hammer/pulls on the 6th string- 5 open 7 open 9 open on the solo there, its easier and it sounds better, i dont know if its right, it just sounds smoother

ok yes he CAN solo. but that solo in knowledge is not that great. its a few bends on the same few notes and a nice little riff thrown in at the end. listen to some Led Zeppelin. then you will know what a real solo is like.

ps don't get me wrong i do like green day. billie joe is just not much of a guitar player. great songwriter and singer though.

I am just not a big fan of their attitude now. i know artists have to change, but i wish they had not strayed away from punk. American Idiot is barely. the singles off that cd were...average. the real hits of that record were the ones that never got played on tv or even live.

you're pretty much right, I agree... it's just that right before the American Idiot tour (and during some early concerts of it), they often played every song from the record > a slight correction. oh, and as for this Jankunas guy, he did a good job; I mean, you can't judge his performance by saying GD songs are easy.
