Ok everyone is saying the theme of the movie is too change yourself to be accepted, but thats not true, because remember they were bonding in the diner and he was himself. The song even shows how she loves him for who he is. Him changing was just so she could open her eyes and notice him and who he was.

Its funny how much people said that the moral of this movie is change yourself perhaps everyone forgot that was the moral of the first grease. Its OK to have another side of yourself and its ok to do something wonderful for the person you love like learn to ride a bike. If more husbands actually spent time trying to make there wives happy instead of cheating on them there wouldn't be so many divorces. @amjovi In grease one sandy did a complete 180. Perhaps you remember the diner scene and the stairs scene and outside of the diner as well. She had already started liking the " nerd" in him. In the end she said she liked both sides of him. What he did by learning to ride is what is called a big jester of love. He knew see had a dream and he knew they were right for one another. Most guys won't even open the door while your carrying a stack of books he just explored another side of himself but
