  • CCFL and it's driver might be worth keeping too. Not much else worth saving. (apart from the PSU you already salvaged)

  • You can make a light table out of those. Just pull all the shit off the front.

  • Try it under liquid helium. It probably won't work at 4.2 K (-268.9 C). If thats the case, get out the hammer.

  • chuck the backlights in the microwave ! i microwaved a crap load of them ,they get superbright in the nuker,and most of them survived too

  • Yah CFL lights don't like the cold. I have one in the light at my front door. takes 5 minutes to warm up.
