youd be surprised how many tree limbs get knocked off and hit you. Many 24" diameter and larger. And in my area, there are snakes sunning themselves on limbs and hornet nests that cause excitement at times. Both tend to be hit just right so they land in your lap. It doesnt take too many times for you to want a rops and cab

I saw one of these monsters pulled a loaded sand barge that was SUNK...right across the harbour floor to be re-floted. Awesome power. The Dozer was nicknamed " Big Alice"..lol.

About 20 years ago i used to move an hd 41 on low loader we used to drive on the side and spin them around the blade was 16 ft wide and was always removed cab was removed to clear bridges.i saw it ripping in a quarry against a cat d10 it made the cat look like a toy.A hell of a machine.I have pics of it on a low loader.

Yup, we changed out many final drives until we just said forget it. Otherwise, it was a really good machine. If I or any of my brothers operated it, we had no problems as we were easy on it. But inevitably a hired operator would take out the finals.......
