yes the 6" figures are nice but the 3.75" figures are horrible.

The color of the foot stands don't mean a thing. But yes the goldish / yellow shirts are "command" the blue shirts are "science/medical" and the red shirts are "engineering/security."

Spock should have come with a tricorder, too.

Great review. I wanted to see how the face sculpt compares to the Heroes Sylar figure i have because they are both portrayed by Zachery Quinto. I'm actually looking forwards to the new movie even though i wasn't alive when Star Trek first aired so I'm more of a TNG fan.

The sculpt on the Mezco Heroes figures are pretty terrible to be honest. Sylar's is probables the best. I would say that the Sylar face is a little better though it's a really close run thing. Maybe because the Heroes figure is 7" and the Star Trek one is 6" there can be a bit more detail on the Heroes one

The only thing I have to say that doesn't change in age on young spock and old spock are the packs

The black ones are for non-Starfleet figures. The gold ones are for cadets. Silver is for the full officers.

At least as far as I can figure it.
