Avocado masks really help with acne. Just mash up a little bit on your face and leave on for 10min. Do this one a week. The naturally occurring salicylic acid kills the bacteria while its oils moisturize the skin. It's really helped me!

Lots of people dont know how their body works. You should eat for you blood type. You may not be able to eat certain foods for your blood, this msy be causing the break out too
hate when people say acne is just bacteria on your face and you just need to wash it. no, its not just bacteria on my face i wash it twice a damn day and i still break out!.for some of those LUCKY people yeah it's just the fact they need to wash it but for me and a lot of other people who have had acne since puberty it's an internal infection that makes your body produce too much oil. in order to get rid of it it's either go natural/organics or go to the dermatologist and get an oral antibiotic
Have anyone tried using Avalon Organics Vitamin C cleansing gel and balancing facial toner. I does wonders for the skin because it is completely organic and also has a ph of 5 which is great because it doesnt disturbs the skin natural acid mantel that has a ph of 5.Also no side effects which is a big plus.

Oh shit, the natural foods part had me CRACKING up. I literally had to pause that sped-up part to stop laughing. No joke though, the general message you get from the health foods/nutrition world can feel like that! "Bitch if you don't juice..!" LOL!
Three words: witch hazel astringent. Its a natural way to cleanse, clear up, AND tone your skin. I had the same problem as you, and now my skin is clear. =] Just try for a week. You will see results.

The simpliest things u can do is to cut out all processed foods, all sugars, white flour, etc only whole fresh foods, example eat baked chicken with a side of diced cucumbers, no sodas, drink lemon water with fresh lemons, if u do this for 30 days u will absolutely see an improvement the longer the better.
Omg.. I TOTALLY relate! Have had acne since I was twelve, but failed to do what I needed to do to get rid of it... so now at TWENTY-FIVE... I have scars. Uggghhhh!!
the all natural products r good to use. i started taking biotin pills, it promotes hair & nail growth its also good for ur skin i have seen a difference. i also use facial products called artistry they are amazing! and its really good because they have different types of products for different types of skin. (message me if ur interested in it)
Your acne is still better than mine. I've had acne since age 11. I'm 18 now. And it's going nowhere. I have moderately severe acne. My dermatologist is always giving me new things to try and they never work. I want to try accutane but I'm scared. What's even worse is that I have hyper pigmentation so I have crazy acne and black marks all over my face. I hate my face. I've tried the acne dot org regime, didn't work for me. I feel like my acne has something deeper.
Yeah, diet is a big part of it. I changed a LOT of stuff in my diet and skin care regimen. Changing what I ate really helped control the acne. BUT the down side of having bad acne since like age 11 (hormones kicked in and got that first monthly visitor) is the HYPERPIGMENTATION. So I've just been doing light exfoliate 2 clear it up over time with some very light exfoliating creams (not fade creams). I haven't used Acne.org's stuff, but the info is good.
@tigereyes5 Sure, besides good old fashion manual exfoliation, I started with walgreens 2% Alpha Hydroxy Acid. And now I'm using Reviva's 10% Glycolic Acid Night Cream. Both of these will take time to notice a difference and it's best to keep the skin clear of acne (the walgreens AHA works great for acne spot treatments too). They basically help the skin exfoliate faster.
@tigereyes5 Also I should mention that they are not a quick way. Can take months before noticed improvement depending on the severity. (mine was horrible) It does work, but if you're looking for something faster with like results within weeks, I would suggest checking out reviews here on Youtube on Glycolic Acid Peels, Lactic Acid Peels, Salycilic Acid Peels, or TCA Peels (they're the strongest and the skin will literally peel). You can check out Acne.org to find written reviews.
Thanks so much for that! I'm in the UK so will see if I can find those products here. No, I don't believe in quick fixes and am not sure if I want to go down the cosmetic route just yet (maybe if I get desperate). I'm trying to be patient in keeping the spots at bay and then going for the pigments. I'm not very good at patience though! So glad something worked for you xx
The D.K. system on Acne.org was a short-term thing for me. It got rid of my acne but bleached out my skin and enlarged my pores. It worked for just under 2 years. Then my skin got bad again. I'm okay now with Spectro Gel, tea tree/black soap, and occasionally 10% benzoyl peroxide, but am also trying to change my diet to improve my overall health/appearance. I recently bought a juicer! I juice mostly veggies. Too early to see results. Gotta check out the supplement you picked up.
@EDiiEbOO Mary Kay but they discontinued my shade. I need to find a new one that is not harmful to acne prone skin and has a green undertone, any suggestions?
@thosegirlsarewild you should try clinique acne solutions foundation. my skin is very sensitive and using makeup has always been something that would eventually make me breakout. But this foundation actually helps clear my skin and gives really good coverage. I'm not 100% sure if it has a green undertone, but you can check it out.
@thosegirlsarewild I have the same problem with my face, I get em on my cheeks, middle of my eye brows and jaw one area. IT DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!! Lol, but I found this foundation called cover fx. I got it from this beauty store but I saw that they sell it at the Sephora store also. It works for women with oily or acne skin. I love it, it was about $20 bucks or less, so give it a try. They also have it in blushes too! Hope that helped!! Btw; love your vids, too funny!!!
@thosegirlsarewild I have bad acne also and it drives me CRAZY!!!! I get it on my cheeks, between my eyebrows and around my side burns. I use a foundation called Cover FX, its for skin like ours; oily and sensitive skin. They also have blushes too! hope that helped and btw; i love your vids, there too funny!
@thosegirlsarewild I think you look pretty . Who cares if you have a little acne. I had acne all throughout high school. People would make fun sometimes and it really got me down. I guess it affected my self esteem a little bit and I really didn't talk to a lot of people. I broke out the worst in my last year. It was awful. I didnt go to anything . I missed every dance prom etc. Now I regret it . That's life I guess.
@thosegirlsarewild Well, right now I use Estee Lauder Double wear foundation with SPF 10. Its really good, I love it. You don't need to set it with a powder either! It does the trick for me! I don't know if they sell it or how much it will be in America, but in England its about £26.50 :)
Oh yes I know how u feel! The only difference is that im 15, and had acne since I was 11 or even earlier. I tried almost eveeeeeeeeery single product, and one thing that really helped me besides pills, was ice. Like you put 2-3 cubes on ur face and just roll them all over ur face until they melt, and at first it's freezing but it helped quite a lot..
I began to experience adult acne in my mid twenties. I RECENTLY found the CHEAPEST way to get rid of it... Glycerin soap from the health food store... unscented.. and vasceline. When I heard in one of yor vids that andrea puts vasceline on her face i laughed because Im thinking... "IM NOT THE ONLY ONE!!" lol; Its suppose to be HORRIBLE for the skin when in fact it does WONDERS for me. I even tried Cetaphil.. EPIC FAIL... It did nothing but clog my pores. So Im back to my cheap regime
@eclark6 - Yes maam. and to think that i spend less than 4 dollars to have a clear face is unheard of... all this time ive struggled when all i needed was glycerin and petroleum?lmbo. hilarious.
At 21, my skin has improved drastically all thanks to... Cetaphil face wash. It's cheap, you can get it over the counter and it worked for me. I have combination skin so needed something that wasn't harsh. Testing all these different products only irritated my skin further e.g. Proactiv.
Along with that, I drank lots of water and ate way healthier.
It's funny that you went to the health food store. I was waiting to watch the whole video before I suggested changing your eating habits. I had this patch, right smack dab on my forehead for 2 years, wouldn't move, even if I paid it to. I tried apricot scrub, Lush products, clay, steaming and a host of other things. It wasn't until I adopted a high raw diet, reduced the processed sugars and upped my water intake, did I see a result. Kudos to you on making a healthy change! Green smoothies!
I just watched a 7 minute video about acne... What tha fuck O.o? Miracle worker. She seems like one of those people that could hold a conversation about anything, love it
This was for me cuz I've also had skin problems since I was about 13-14. It's not bad like it was but I still have a lot of breakouts. The most recent thing I tried was Rx for brown skin. Fail. I give up, I'm just gonna go back to my dermatologist.
I've found that African Black Soap and Shea Butter have done wonders (Eli's Body Shop or go to Essence of Life in Kensington Market), in conjunction with ditching dairy and eating healthy (lots of greens). Black soap can be harsh for some people, though. The shea butter has to be all natural - it's the maleable kind that is a white-yellowish colour and smells earthy. I just wash my face twice a day and apply shea butter afterward. I also use a face brush ($7 from Sephora) to exfoliate.
there was a time when I was really spotty, like nasty spotty. I was quite young too and I tried all the products out there and read everything online (I'm sure we can all relate) but my mum would always tell me to scrub my face with soap and a body scrubber but I was always like NOO, the internet says that soap dries out your skin and the scrubber will irritate it, but one day I gave in and BAM my skin is clear now. Turns out that having clean skin does wonders and mothers are always right
whole foods (with more fibers) and adding some key supplements to your diet (as you showed in the video) can work wonders. It may take longer to see the results but it will pay off and you know it will be long-lasting results with no nasty side effects waiting for you around the corner. Anyways, sorry for this long response but I had to add my two cents :p
That's when I decided to go the "all natural" route and started seriously looking at everything I was putting within my body (i.e. foods, BCP, etc). And today, after changing my diet, and doing various other lifestyle changes, I can say (finger crossed lol) that my skin is finally clear again :) It feels sooo good to have my skin back. I agree with that lady from natural health food store: dairy foods, sugary and greasy foods are big culprits when it comes to adult acne. Staying hydrated, eating
I have minor acne, im 18 so I think i'll have it in my 20's as well. I can control it to the point where it doesnt look gross. But I hope I grow out of it. I occasionally get white heads, but mostly they are seemingly non existant bumps so im lucky to an extent.
I've had acne since I was 10 and I'm 24 now. I did accutane for 8 months and now Im left with scars. So it will be interesting to see if in a few years I get the bad break outs that I use to.
Have you tried the oil cleansing method? I suffered from mild acne starting as a teen up until my mid 30s. After millions of products later, stumbled on the OCM about a year ago and after some trial and error in the beginning finally have clear skin and the redness around my nose and temples is gone! Look it up and check it out. What have you got to loose?
@TaniBaca I agree on the oil cleansing method! I started using it recently and have noticed a difference. By the way, I was an avid Proactiv user before but didn't like how drying it was for my skin and it was soooo expensive.
@TaniBaca OMG! I use the OCM too, especially if I run out of Dr. Bronner's Magic soap (castile)--which is made of mostly oils anyway. Now, my skin looks like I never had acne.
I started getting acne at 28!!!! I "accidently" happened upon Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap----which is castile soap. I wash twice p/day and use a dry face cloth to dry and exfolitate (circular motion). I don't even get a pimple during cycle time. AND all the Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (Dark Spots) is GONE! I've been acne free for two years now...by the way refined sugar is your skin's worst nightmare. Hope you find your way love bug.
Acne is a b***h! I have tried sooooo much....Proactiv, the Pill, and other things! The funny thing is Accutane is a Vitamin A based drug! Pity about the side effects! I'm still struggling through!
I have tried everything as well and i had to completely change my diet and have seen improvement. My only issue is the hyperpigmentation. It's ridiculous! Ughhh
you whats a great thing that helps with acne i am not joking or trying to be funny or a pervarte. Having good sex really helps and the better sex you have the much better. It's because it has to do with horomones with in your body and sex will balance that. Much love from Atlanta Ga and God bless
i think you will see improvement if you where your hair away from your face i think that may be irritating your face. Pure tea tree oil also helps loads :)
I have bad skin way worst then yours and I tried everything to and nothing worked. But now i'm taking vitamins and washing face with a product I got from Walmart. I'm go to a natural store & look 4 the products u have.
My Derm tried to put me on accutane but I passed it up to take doryx and that helped me. I also took a natural route and used grapeseed oil for a moisturizer because I have combination skin. I second cetaphil suggestion. I didn't think it would work but it did.
what helped my acne was sticking to a facial routine that has some type of salysilic acid in it and drinking a lot of water. I still get acne but its only when i get lazy and stop doing both of those lol
i am not sure if they have it in canada i am sure they do or you can order it online, dr miracle goodbye acne kit is really awesome. i relate to the same like you i have tried everything and now i randomly started using this dr miracle acne kit because i saw results in my friend but its ridiculous that it works and its only 18usd. i mean i have used some expensive stuff, honestly its ridiculous that it is so cheap and it really works. i think its worth a try
Lately I've been researching about the positive effects of applying extra virgin olive oil on the skin as a moisturizer. It is stated to clear up acne within three weeks as well as soften the skin. I've been trying it for a week now and have noticed a difference in the way my face looks. I know it seems like an oxymoron but it is not as far fetched as it sounds.
I can relate with the good or bad side of your face, and the jawline a chin acne. I'm thinking about Accutane of birth control. Acne on the jawline and chin etc. is caused by hormones, I believe.
bragg's organic apple cider vinegar is used for everything, both inside and out. google it to find toner recipes, hair cleansings rinses, or just take it teaspoons of it straight, or mix it with water for overall health benefits lol
This was the first video I've seen of you, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I hope to hear an update on your routine! Best of luck and I'm definitely subscribing! :D
You would think the health food store lady would've thought to give you a bottle of tea tree oil...it's a strong astringent that dries out zits. Take a cotton swab and dab it a few times on the affected areas. Tea tree oil smells pretty strong so only use it at night. HTH~
I have clear skin, but I do deal with chronic eczema. I guess I can relate to people who are suffering from acne. Dietary changes have drastically improved my skin. I realized that I have to make permanent lifestyle changes in order to improve my skin and that is what works for me. Your dad is right about the sugar.
I've got THE WORST acne. I've tried everything including the regimen on acne.org. I found that using Witch Hazel as an astringent has worked best for me; that along with the St Ives medicated scrub. I do think that acne is an internal issue, but I'm not a fan of taking supplements, so the witch hazel & St Ives regimen has helped to keep the breakouts down. Good luck!

LethalLemonLime 1 month ago
@LethalLemonLime I even changed the way I eat several times to see if my face would change. Sadly, It hasn't.
LethalLemonLime 1 month ago
Yeah, diet is a big part of it. I changed a LOT of stuff in my diet and skin care regimen. Changing what I ate really helped control the acne. BUT the down side of having bad acne since like age 11 (hormones kicked in and got that first monthly visitor) is the HYPERPIGMENTATION. So I've just been doing light exfoliate 2 clear it up over time with some very light exfoliating creams (not fade creams). I haven't used Acne.org's stuff, but the info is good.
naturalcontentment19 1 month ago
@naturalcontentment19
Could you name the creams you've been using for your hyperpirgmentation? I also have that problem!
tigereyes5 1 month ago
@tigereyes5 Sure, besides good old fashion manual exfoliation, I started with walgreens 2% Alpha Hydroxy Acid. And now I'm using Reviva's 10% Glycolic Acid Night Cream. Both of these will take time to notice a difference and it's best to keep the skin clear of acne (the walgreens AHA works great for acne spot treatments too). They basically help the skin exfoliate faster.
naturalcontentment19 1 month ago
@tigereyes5 Also I should mention that they are not a quick way. Can take months before noticed improvement depending on the severity. (mine was horrible) It does work, but if you're looking for something faster with like results within weeks, I would suggest checking out reviews here on Youtube on Glycolic Acid Peels, Lactic Acid Peels, Salycilic Acid Peels, or TCA Peels (they're the strongest and the skin will literally peel). You can check out Acne.org to find written reviews.
naturalcontentment19 1 month ago
@naturalcontentment19

I need to find a new one that is not harmful to acne prone skin and has a green undertone, any suggestions?
thosegirlsarewild 1 month ago
@thosegirlsarewild you should try clinique acne solutions foundation. my skin is very sensitive and using makeup has always been something that would eventually make me breakout. But this foundation actually helps clear my skin and gives really good coverage. I'm not 100% sure if it has a green undertone, but you can check it out.
Hope that helps. =)

I got it from this beauty store but I saw that they sell it at the Sephora store also. It works for women with oily or acne skin. I love it, it was about $20 bucks or less, so give it a try. They also have it in blushes too! Hope that helped!! Btw; love your vids, too funny!!!

I can relate!
From someone who battled with acne for 5 years.

Hiya - you should try the OCM treatment - its a mix of different oils
Castor oil
Olive oil
you can also add a little bit of Vit E for scarring
This helped my skin tremendously - you should be able to find details of this treatment on Acne.Org forums and also online
I have suffered from acne from the age of 12, and i am 27 now, at last its calmed down - I also have PCOS and excema

there was a time when I was really spotty, like nasty spotty. Turns out that having clean skin does wonders and mothers are always right
simplyshama 1 month ago
I too am addicted to sugar. Did you find that you had to completely stop the sugar or can u still eat sugar while using the Bell masters?
tonimyers1 1 month ago
whole foods (with more fibers) and adding some key supplements to your diet (as you showed in the video) can work wonders. It may take longer to see the results but it will pay off and you know it will be long-lasting results with no nasty side effects waiting for you around the corner. Anyways, sorry for this long response but I had to add my two cents :p
Thanks for sharing your experience with us :)

TaniBaca 1 month ago
@TaniBaca I agree on the oil cleansing method! I started using it recently and have noticed a difference. By the way, I was an avid Proactiv user before but didn't like how drying it was for my skin and it was soooo expensive.
TheCurlista 1 month ago

Good luck!
