Only winning two ranking events with massive luck (at example: hit and hope shot against williams which was a foul) and by trying everything to destroy the game of the opponent by playing very destructive and very slowly. Definitely, you can see him battling to keep that smile down. In his defense there had been some stirring by others between the two players, their relationship was poor back then, some words spoken in the heat of the moment, etc. Lots of newspaper articles claiming Hendry was past it, and no longer the force he was, and that Ronnie was to be the new dominant force in snooker. Which all built up resulting in enthralling, extremely high quality snooker, with so much drama. One of the best ever.

I don't understand why Bingham didn't just roll the pink in and take a long cut on the black. Would have been higher % shots. In this case pink would have been 95% and the black about 70%. Hendry on his WC max. had to cut a crazy last black.
