  • Very clever mix of the old a new. If kids danced like this instead of those disgusting moves that look like apes mating, they wouldn't be so out of shape and learn what true romance is all about. They need to bring classic dancing into school physical ed programs.

  • stupid mix

  • Great job of timing and creativity.....fabulous!!!

  • Literally could not take my eyes of this video :) so perfectly timed and fantastic dance pieces chosen :) Have the biggest grin on my face after this so thank you SO much :D

  • OMG that white dress at the beginning is beautiful and the way its flows when she twirls so magical, why don't women dress as elegant anymore?

  • Very very nice. Thanks for doing this. They are so beautiful.

  • Great work i love it. The best for you from Uruguay

  • Wow! This is incredibly well done! Thank you!

  • absolutely brilliant. Perhaps the younger generation will appreciate the skills of these two Hollywood legends with this remix. <3

  • really, really excellent. thank you!

  • She has an outtie?...superb dancing! I could watch Fred Astaire all day! Good video tribute.

  • Great tribute. The scenes fit so well with the music. I almost like this better than the end of Dirty Dancing.

  • Two thumbs up!

  • Great editing !!!

  • Can't stop watching it again and again and again... Simply beautiful!! Many thanks for this amazing work!!

  • Best on You Tube.....

  • Muy bello!!

  • Great video and nice song choice. Fred and Ginger would have loved this.

  • Very nice, great job..!

  • One hundred percent agreement with shufflehop!! You have made my February!! Excellent!!

  • Brilliant !! Brilliant editing, dancing, and music !! Great job....5 stars

  • I can see why they blew their viewing audiences away.

  • I must admit, after I heard the first few seconds and realized it was a modern song (all of which I depise), I was wasn't going to watch it. But I ended up loving it. This is a beautifully constructed tribute to Fred and Ginger.

  • ¡Qué falta de respeto!

  • His art stands the test of time, absolutely amazing grace, precision, and strength! He was an extraordinary dancing athlete. This made my evening.

  • Encore!

  • Wonderful. Very, very well done.

  • Lovely montage! You've done justice to their talent and possibly introduced some people to some amazing dancing by setting it to modern music. Brilliant!

  • Genius! Brilliant! WOW! When I saw the title I thought it was going to be terrible, but it is GENIUS!

  • lol you synchronized it perfectly, you gotta lot of patience and attention for detail

  • Quien pudiera por unas horas ,estar allí !!!

que bonita época .... Gracias sublime amiga !!!

    Bendiciones por siempre <3

  • I just have to tell you, this is the most brilliant tribute. I can tell you put SO MUCH work into this to make it just right. It's perfect, it brings tears to my eyes. Great editing job. I hope you do something like this for a living because you're very talented!

  • @trinamaggio Thankyou so much! Unfortunately, I don't do anything like this for a living but would love to :)

  • @shufflehop Well - than send this video out and you will!!

  • @trinamaggio

    It's an abomination you dolt!

  • @trinamaggio ya no, mixing this with 80s tunes, get the fuck out of here.

  • Awesome editing... I luv this video... thx so much... best dancers of the universe!

  • bello ^__^

  • That was just brilliant! Putting it on my playlist!

  • Let me tell you! This video made me cry! WONDERFUL JOB!!!! I am such a HUGE Fred and Ginger fan and this is an AMAZING tribute to their work! Very IMPRESSIVE!!!! :D

  • An amazing edit. True to Fred and Ginger, and yet a perfect modernisation. Not only are key shots absolutely in synch with the emotional highs of the song but you can never see when - or even if - you have overcranked or undercranked the speed of the dance to fit the tempo of the music. Wonderful job.

  • @Crumphorn Hi, thankyou very much for the great comment. Yes, you are very perceptive about the emotional aspect of the video/song. I did do that on purpose, but that's cause I was in a VERY romantic mood when I did the montage (had just watched Dirty Dancing) and doubt it would have come out well the way it did if I wasn't so emotionally charged. I mean, imagining I'm Fred Astaire dancing with Ginger Rogers to such a great track.. ahh! If only!... I tend to suffer from romantic overload :)

  • @shufflehop kindly rethink your position on romanticism. It is never somthing to "suffer" from. :0) Embrace it and rejoice. Someone will be very lucky to receive such romanticism.

P.S. Great video, your attention to detail is what's winning people over on this modernization. It's Brilliant, enjoy the well deserved appreciation.

  • Wow! I was prepared to hate this but it is so well done that I love it!

  • @Pug40

TOTALLLY AGREE! It is very well done! Shufflehop you have a big pacience to do that but you hace your recompense!

  • Man, I resisted the first 30 seconds of this, then I couldn't stop watching...was a risky game but your timing made it really lovely to watch - well done!

  • this is really good

  • its true she did it backwards but fred does steps she doesnt do and he is the all time master...of movie dancing.....almost every song he sang in movie

is a standard now. And he couldnt sing very well. Died at 90 and was in movie

drama roll at the time. My mom knew Ginger....same era, same towns.

    xxx

  • this couple are a joy to watch as are jennifer and patrick - thanks!

  • Wow, this really works, my fav song from the best 80s movie with Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey teamed with the Ultimate Duo of all time.

You are a genius, nice clips to fit the song.XXXXXXX

  • @Airwolfgalexbucksfiz Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! I had a great time doing it :)

  • @shufflehop Your welcome, never get tired of watching these two, Hollywood stars today have no class. Movies today have too much violence in them, thank god we have DVDs of all the great classics out there to remenise about times gone by and want back given todays current climate of violent teenagers stabbing each other and not getting punished bcoz rights to discipline kids has been taken away with adults afraid of being sent to jail 4 defending themselves.

  • @Airwolfgalexbucksfiz Yeah, I hear ya!... Many people have echoed similar sentiments under one of the other videos I posted. People need sanctuary from all the trash that goes on in the world and I guess the great legacy that people like Fred and Ginger left behind was providing such sanctuary for people to escape into another world. This is why keeping they're memory alive is so important...

  • Brilliant composition! Well done on putting this video together.

  • Beautiful, just beautiful

  • Wonderful tribute.. She danced till her shoes filled with blood during this opening sequence and it was said she was the better dancer for she did every Astaire step... backward... Just lovely, thank you so much.

  • Superb!

  • This is wonderful!
