We were lucky. This one was barely anything at all in La Paz. We've had much worse! We've been running our fishing operation for 12 years now. Your dad is lucky. You can come down and visit now!

No one was killed by any water or anything else in La Paz over Norbert. It was even milder than the tropical storm we had several weeks earlier. People were out playing in Norbert including us. We are in La Paz. Over on the Pacific side, it was much more serious. Many people were flooded out. In La Paz, it barely rained enough to get the cars wet.

The water made more kills than the wind in La Paz; you may never drive by water, or walk by water, while a hurricane stands there :S
