So.. 'hikuwa' can also mean too much negative information about (your)self that makes the person that self is talking to thinks badly about that self?

Basically, hiku wa is an expression of repulsion (but how strong that repulsion is varies). Sometimes it can also be used as a joke, but in general it is negative.
