Had the same problem, the answer is obvious.

The Spec has changed alot since 08, I need a new Video card as it has changed from 64MB to 128MB. Also the Processor, it has changed from 1.3GHZ to a minumum of 2.6GHZ.

Check the back of the game and see of your system has the relevant software.

The fact is that we get the same old shit in terms of graphical engines in fifa manager. It uses the modified engine of Fifa CL 2003 game I think, which is a bit ridiculous here in 2008/2009. For example physics is awful, and I haven't spoken of animations yet (they recur too often, etc.). Anyway, I love the Fifa Manager series, got a carrier of 12 seasons by now. All you need is to download a gameplay patch to kill bugs.

i chicked the official website for the sys. requirements it says a 128 MB card that must support shader model 2.0 mine meets this criteria but on the same page the site lists a group of the only chipsets that will be able to play the 3D match an my chipset isn't included !! it only lists the GeForce 6800 an higher !!

You can't help but feel that the gameplay sequences are so short because of the quality. I own FIFA Managaer 08 but am not going to get 09 partly because you can update it and partly because it isn't really worth it. The menus always look nice but I would have liked to see better 3-D gameplay (the actual match). If you take the realism and data from football manager and combine them with the look of FIFA and add better graphics then you've got yourself a good football managing game.
