@Ariolserifi The farmers are actually very willing to conserve the cheetah once they learn to prevent conflict such as losing their animals to predators. CCF has trained thousands of farmers in Namibia to teach them how to increase productivity and live harmoniously with predators on their land --for example, using livestock guard dogs or donkeys to protect their domestic animals. Farmers that have learned how to do this report almost no livestock losses to predators. They are our best allies!
UUH! i so wish i could be a part of helping the cheetahs! I'm going to college to do something with animals and i can only dream that i will be able to work with them some day=)
They are doing a great thing. I'm in veterinary school and i'm sitting here filling out my applications to do my internship at the CCF!! So excited. I live in the US too, first time for Africa! What a dream.
I've had more than my fair share of heros growing up, but as an adult my hero is certainly Dr. Marker. She is such a great person and so dedicated. I really think the world of her, her staff, and those who help make CCF a success. I have sponsored two different cheetahs and hope that every viewer here will consider doing their part to help save this magnificent creature.
This video is insiering - Iv been a big fan of cheetahs for as long as I can remember and I know that if not for humans, cheetahs would flurish in their natural range (all of Africa, Arabian peninula, Near east and India), but with humans, that range has been reduced dramaticly and so has the population, like many other animals... 3 out of 9 subspiecies of tiger are allready extict, there are only 40 amur leopards left, the tasmanian wolf, etc...
Truly an inspiring video! Whenever I start to feel like life on earth is going to heck in a handbasket, I look at things like this and feel a huge wave of confident hope. Long may duma run!
Wonderful video! I cannot happily imagine a world bereft of any unique species, but, to lose the cheetah would be to lose a special part of nature. It would be a sad day on which the sun rose to a world without these beautiful cats.
Thanks so much. You are right, and this is whey we at the Cheetah Conservation Fund are working hard and appreciate all of our supporters who make our efforts possible.
thank you laurie marker that you are using for cheetahs
because the farmers do not have a stupid plan

Thank you! Please do. We need to spread the word. We can't afford to let such a beautiful animal go extinct.

Dr. Laurie Marker is an absolute angel. I started a monthly donation to the CCF and I hope many more people will be moved to do the same!

And we so appreciate your commitment! CCF cannot function without people who support our work. Happy Holidays!

Hi, suturofmuspell. Thanks for your comment. I wonder whether you could re-post it without the word s***. Many kids read our comments.
