I'm collecting famous asian films like this gorgeous modern classic by Zhang Yimou, and I like to watch original dub and also version with English synchronization, it's not a heresy. But respect to original voiceovers.

@grehan19 No, I am not sure,hun. I ripped this from my DVD with is dubbed in english. You may rent the movie that has original voices or with subs. I know alot of people like the original voices, I do too. But this is all the version I have. I love the way Zhang Ziyi's voice sounds. It kind of takes away the origanality of the movie. So I am sorry to all who do not like this version.

Thank you for the dub. I know people love the regular voices and I like them too, but when a movie is dubbed I can pay attention to the visual details more or (since I am a busy college student who has to do ten things at once) I can at least hear the movie while doing other things. I'm a dub-lover, so thank you so much!

Yes, alot of people do not like the dubb, but I totally agree with you about not being able to watch (the visual effects) the movie comfortably because we are having to read subtitles.
