I love Bowie but I like Iggy's version better, it's more raw and powerful. It happened with most Iggy songs that Bowie did later (each one written by both of them, of course), China Girl, Tonight, Sister Midnight, etc, Bowie did them sound more commercial.

This is so interesting. Bowie hates touching his fans and that is apparent in this video. He reaches out, but his security saves him from prolonged contact. You can actually see him recoil. Not that I blame him.
