Anyone who trusts Fox or any other major media source has issues they have to address as well. I'm not saying this isn't true and a horrible injustice, It makes perfect sense, but the good thing about captilism is that we can change it by choice. We can stop watching Fox news entirely. I'm completely for the idea of having a conservative news channel. Why not? However, Fox News doesn't represent a news outlet as it does an agenda-driven propaganda machine. News is often biased but putting "Fair" in the slogan is just brazenly dishonest. Fox's talking heads cut their guests' mics and yell so much that it gives the impression you're watching an entertainment channel instead of news.
It’s good that it points out how biased fox news is, but it’s even better that the call to action includes ALL news and encourages us to support more unbiased news sources. Personally, I think we all should have freedom of speech, but some of this propaganda is even more damaging then yelling fire in a crowded theatre.

These sites are funded by George Soros and he is one corrupt billionaire. Murdoch is 117th most richest man in the world and Soros is 35th. Murdoch doesn't come close and is not as powerful as this documentary portrays him to be.

@steel1968 i have a questions for you. 1. What about the other media such as CNN and MSNBC in particular like they are not bias? 2. Fox has talked about stories that other networks have not or months/ weeks before the other acknowledged? Example the oil spill, the tea party rally's, the other networks did not say anything until weeks and months later when those stories gained full momentum. I agree lot of the show on Fox do have bias views but the fact remains that has been pointed out.

How do you make an entire film about the one dissenting media outlet and condemn their practices of bias when the other stations are guilty of the same thing? I think it's true that a cable tv company can be biased to the point it's propaganda and when FOX tries to make itself appear as a legitimate news source it deserves all of the attacks and maybe more for pretending to give you just the facts and allowing you to discern from there. Guess you could say they're nice enough to give you an opinion on the issues as well.
NBC is owned by Jeff Zucker who is a leftist in Obama's pocket, and his station and their antics prove it. ABC and CBS are certainly the least biased that I can think of, but I would still say that they have a left bias. But NBC, ABC, and CBS are not 24 hour news networks, they are not in the same category as Fox News. I do not agree with Fox's bias, but what if they were left too, how could we have all leftist news in this country. I would find that disturbing even more so.
If these 3 are guilty of bias and you can prove it, then you can get public funding dropped from their news programs.
Any bias is bad bias, of course, media can always seem liberal when they're showing you the byproducts of any decision made by those in power. It's their job to give you a more complete picture, fill you in on aspects that PR reports don't cover and a lot of times it doesn't look good.

I'm completely for the idea of having a conservative news channel. Why not? However, Fox News doesn't represent a news outlet as it does an agenda-driven propaganda machine. News is often biased but putting "Fair" in the slogan is just brazenly dishonest. Fox's talking heads cut their guests' mics and yell so much that it gives the impression you're watching an entertainment channel instead of news.

It’s good that it points out how biased fox news is, but it’s even better that the call to action includes ALL news and encourages us to support more unbiased news sources. It doesn't surprise me that Moveon.org, Media Matters, and the like would fund a documentary like this one that attacks fox, conservatives, and liberals that agree with conservatives on a few things. These sites are funded by George Soros and he is one corrupt billionaire. Murdoch is 117th most richest man in the world and Soros is 35th. Murdoch doesn't come close and is not as powerful as this documentary portrays him to be.

Caveat well taken, Yuri! If I were required to compose a list of 10 things I really suck at, the ability to lighten up might make it on that list.
But the Web is a place of wide-open sentiments, some of which I consider a ministry, and a lot of people here seem to be running as wide open in that regtard as I am.

Secondly, Dancing With the Stars gets good ratings too...it doesnt qualify them as a credible news source.
The National Enquirer sells a lot of papers...doesn't make them accurate.
McDonalds sells more burgers than the local diner...doesnt make McDonalds burgers better.
I was once a Fox News ONLY viewer, and as an Indepenent, I grew tired of the games, the repeated false stories, etc.

Saying that the rest of the media is "in bed with Obama" is just a way to justify Fox's extreme bias.
I'm a former Republican, still a Conserv. Independent, and a former regular viewer of Fox News.

@steel1968 It's not a "card;" the media insulted my intelligence with their overwhelmingly left-wing bias long before Fox came out to counter. The FACT is that the liberal media actually DOES go harder after the GOP than the Dems.
CBS, HEAR-BS, & SPEAK-BS were more about telling you what to think than informing you, but without ratings, no network survives.

@steel1968 i have a questions for you. 1. What about the other media such as CNN and MSNBC in particular like they are not bias? 2. Fox has talked about stories that other networks have not or months/ weeks before the other acknowledged? Example the oil spill, the tea party rally's, the other networks did not say anything until weeks and months later when those stories gained full momentum. I agree lot of the show on Fox do have bias views but the fact remains that has been pointed out.

How do you make an entire film about the one dissenting media outlet and condemn their practices of bias when the other stations are guilty of the same thing? As much as I dont like Fox's bias, the 5 or so other biased stations worry me more, especially when they start attacking the one dissenting opinion.. Scary times we find ourselves in...

I think it's true that a cable tv company can be biased to the point it's propaganda and when FOX tries to make itself appear as a legitimate news source it deserves all of the attacks and maybe more for pretending to give you just the facts and allowing you to discern from there. Guess you could say they're nice enough to give you an opinion on the issues as well.

NBC is owned by Jeff Zucker who is a leftist in Obama's pocket, and his station and their antics prove it. ABC and CBS are certainly the least biased that I can think of, but I would still say that they have a left bias. But NBC, ABC, and CBS are not 24 hour news networks, they are not in the same category as Fox News. I do not agree with Fox's bias, but what if they were left too, how could we have all leftist news in this country. I would find that disturbing even more so.

If these 3 are guilty of bias and you can prove it, then you can get public funding dropped from their news programs.
Any bias is bad bias, of course, media can always seem liberal when they're showing you the byproducts of any decision made by those in power. It's their job to give you a more complete picture, fill you in on aspects that PR reports don't cover and a lot of times it doesn't look good.
For those 8 years the R's had power I can see how ppl can believe in liberal bias.

Well if the media was anti government, or was constantly questioning it, that would be fine. I think the media's love affair with Obama shows their bias. Even with the healthcare and the stories they run in support of it prove the bias to me. NBC I think is certainly the most biased. They had Brian Williams.

For 40 years I endured their overwhelmingly left-wing bias, and for about 20 I've been calling them CBS, HEAR-BS, & SPEAK-BS.
At other times, when it's their WHOLE content & not just the bias of their "news" being considered, they're simply "The 3 Sewer Lines."
He didn't overgeneralize; Fox is the only network without a STRONG left-wing bias!

3/21/08: One of their own anchors, Brian Kilmeade, walks of the set of his own show, apparently because he isn't being allowed to speak without being ridiculed and interrupted!
Fox's so-called "news" is right-wing, lunatic propaganda. Now, even some of their own on-air people can't take it any more. Chris Wallace took them to task for "two hours of Obama-bashing," but, typically, wasn't allowed to really finish his comments.

Kilmeade insulted Mario Guomo because the former governor had the nerve to tell the TRUTH about the Iraq War being unnecessary & today Kilmeade is insulting Bush's Scott McClellan for saying the same about the Iraq fiasco -granted "late" but better late than Kilmeade's "never".
