looks shite. who in the story is supposed to have built all those rail things? looks like it's gameplay is going to be formulaic and dull, even if the idea and the graphics behind the game look cool.
if the idea is cool, the GAMEPLAY is cool. what's gameplay? how the game plays, right? well, what's an idea for a game and has nothing to do with graphics? isn't it supposed to be an idea of how the game's played?
you haven't played it yet. so how can you say the gameplay is shit? everywhere i hear this game is great: has perfect controls, great graphics, and the great gameplay that is metroid prime with it's shooter/action genre.
and no idea how/why phantom hourglass came into metroid prime 3.
But mother brain was created by the Chozo. (or at least, the first one was). So if the first was Chozo, and the second was GF, then what about the one in Super Metroid? If Aurora was based off the original MB, then that makes it likely that there was 20+ years between Metroid and Prime 3. Unless the GF had extensive knowledge of MB prior to Metroid 1 (which is possible, since they sent Samus to destroy MB specifically)
Oh... My... God... We finally find a 3-D manifestation of Mother Brain and learn that the Federation designed the area that she was put it in? Oh, and that city in the sky (Forgot the name...) is seriously starting to look like a Sanctuary Fortress clone.

Mother Brain is the main antagonist that Samus sets off to destroy on the planet Zebes in the original Metroid and Zero Mission. She destroys her along with Kraid and Ridley. She was in an area deep inside the planet. She re-appeared in Super Metroid which is the third of the general Metroid series. The Federation is obviously unaware of Mother Brain's self-intelligence. In the games she appeared in, she could control the Metroids.
The Space Pirates tried to use her, but she used them (e.g. Ridley and Kraid). The room that the Federation had a 2-D layout of looks EXACTLY like her room in Metroid and Super Metroid, which the Prime series takes place in between. The Federation must've based it off of her original room. Zebatite, turrets, and all. In Super Metroid, Mother Brain somehow obtained a full body. I'm starting to believe the Federation created that body...
Meh, for that one just put that Samus is being corrupted by the deadly mutagen, Phazon which played a major roll in the other two games by corrupting Talon VI and Aether. And she joins with three other hunters.
I really don't know what to say about the mysterious meteor. It isn't an Aurora, that's for sure.
