This was brilliant! I would assume that a large percentage of the people who watch Fox "News", do so for entertainment / comedic / train wreck value. The rest are having there own twisted ideology validated and they care not about whether they are being given the facts or bullshit! These are the same people who will say..."well, they have high ratings" and I say so did the Jerry Springer show! It's the age old flaw of us humans, wherein we love to watch train wrecks.

The criticism is valid but the way in which it is presented, with the "pop goes the weasel" music is also propaganda. We also see the kinds of propaganda criticized here on MSNBC as they promote their own views.

Funny. Only, there are a few more tactics they do so love, such as Lying by reporting, "Some say....and Critics say....." as their source. That way, they can make up whatever propaganda they wish to sell. And......Censorship, even to the point of cutting a guests mic if they get to hairy telling truths.

Excellent video on propaganda; however, you left out the tool most used by Fox News: two wrongs make a right.  In fact, two wrongs is at the heart of the "we tell the other side" premise Fox uses to justice its existence.

The "two wrongs" narrative at 9:35-09:17 culminates with the point of the story at 09:13: Because "they started it"...it is okay for the US. Generally, It is okay to spread disinformation 24x7 because the liberal media started it.

Sadly, "two wrongs" is a policy premise too.

Another one not really included: Bias Editted Vox Populi.

A Fox Reporter stands in front of a gathered community, homeowners, people on the street or some other rounded up bunch and the only commentary from all those people which makes the cut is the two or three with the opinion most supportive of Fox's particular skew on the issue.

It helps that we can see it. These things work less when we understand what Fox is trying to do.

But it's missing one I think. These techniques don't just work because their viewers are unaware they are being manipulated. It works because it feeds them what they want to hear.

What do you expect from an arm of the Murdoch Empire? Lies, corruption, intrigue, propaganda, hatemongering, destroying of lives, no empathy or respect for the tragic loss, grievance or privacy of families and individuals... It`s all they deal in.

Nobody confuses Fox with fairness, journalistic integrity or facts. Well at least only 1% of the US population does and they are impressionable dolts who can`t think for themselves.
