Well fuck, if this many people have only found out about the volta because of get him to the greek then I guess it's safe to assume you've also never heard of At The Drive-In. Do yourself a favor and check them out, they're basically the origin of TMV in essence (I dunno if the guys would agree with that statement but I stand by it). Greatest punk band of all time.

@horny0donkey0 Well your confusion makes sense, because before their time punk was much simpler and less-progressed. I think the reason they called themselves a punk band was more because of the mindset they had. Punk was a genre created so that anyone who WANTED to make music or express themselves COULD do it and have a community where they would be accepted even if they sucked as a musician, they could play something simple, but loud and fast. ATDI showed it could evolve even further though.
