  • see if only Australia had access to these, man id make some crazy films :) but no were stuck with dodgy cap guns from the $2 store :/

  • @Fuzzman109 you can go on ebay for them :D

  • @MyJr29 Completely true in regards to the editing/compositing software. However, picking up a practical gun with blowback saves you a ton of trouble in post.

  • @stupidkids0 You can tweak the magazine mech to have it dry fire. Some people say not to do that because it will mess up the gun. While that's true, it will only matter if you're going to be using it as an Airsoft weapon as well as a prop. I only use mine as props and it works great.

  • @whofan04 All over. Airsoft shops, Amazon and eBay.

  • sweet ass, we don't got that in holland:p that last one you showed with the silver looks alot like one that i found in france for like 20 euros, springloaded, but it looks extremely real! very heavy, with safety on it and everything! love it!:D

  • Hey film sensei, where can i get a Beretta exactly like the one u got ?

  • @strazzy3 Not sure which one you're talking about, but the Airsoft ones are very easy to find.

  • How many favorite's do you have? =D Thanks bro

  • @CenterFilm Lots!

  • where does one get such bb guns?

  • @vgytre34 They are readily available online and in shops all over.

  • slick

  • lol "it's friggin cool as heck!"

  • i was in japan and saw both the blank and cap guns. Any idea of a website to order from to get them in the states? (I was not going to try and buy a bunch and put them in my suitcase) The blanks in the US are ok but I am filming an sometimes the flare does show up and it looks awful at times. Any help would be cool

  • Good video.

I've actually got four model guns.

    Two Beretta M9's, a Remington M31, and an AK47.

If you want the extra realism with shell casings and stuff it's definitely worth it.

But they require cleaning all the time!

Luckily we don't have the orange tips on soft air guns here in Sweden.

  • im a noob in air soft so do you have to put bbs in it to work

  • @sweetvictory1147 Nope. In fact, you really don't want to be firing BBs on set anyway!

  • If you have like No budget You can take the spring airsofts the plastics one are ok.

  • it's illegal to alter the blaze orange tip

  • how is it best to spray paint over orange?

  • tape over anything u dont want paint on and wrap a little bit of toilet paper around a Q-tip and stick that in the barrel to prevent paint from getting in the barrel, or u could disasemble the gun and remove the barrel

  • im looking for a realistic metal shotgun that ejects shells everytime you cock it.. it doesnt have to shoot anything.. have anyideas

  • You can find an airsoft shotgun with shells.

  • maruzen m870

  • if you're filming a movie, you can just add the shells coming out using a visual effects program like adobe after effects

  • @lllstrikesmember2

im going to be showing a vidieo of a realistic trench gun. would tht be ok

  • Q: where is the best place to buy?

    please send a massage

  • I don't know about a "best place" to buy, but you can check out the article I wrote that went with this video over on the Film Sensei website.

  • Evike com and airsoft GI are pretty good

  • i aint gonna give you a bloody massage now leave me alone

  • flea markets!!!

  • For all of you film makers out there who don't have the cash for a blank firing gun, anything with WE TECH is a buy.

WE TECH is my favorite Airsoft company for gaming and movie making very soon.

  • Any of the all metal gas blowback guns tend to be very nice. WE is very slick and is the company who made my favorite piece, the 1911.

  • I just dropped mine an hour ago and I'm slightly worried. I went out and just shot out two full magazines with no problem, I'm still worried.

  • Do you load the guns and actully shoot people?

Also would the electric guns work?

  • No, we jam the magazines so the guns continue to fire without actually shooting any little pellets. Much safer that way!

Electronic guns can work if they have blowback (I'm not sure if any do or not). You can always create blowback/slide action in post, but it's so much easier to have it happening live on set and will always look better.

  • for the gas airsoft guns do u use green gas or propane

  • I use Green Gas for the most part.

  • OOOH! I wannnnnnt the WE 1911!

  • The WE 1911 is an awesome gun and my favorite of the lot...although the Mac11 with the silencer is pretty freakin' cool too!

  • ur realy awsome nice guns 5/5

  • where would you recommend ordering blank or model guns, i have a small production in a few months and would like to use something legit that looked good

  • You can search ebay for "Model Guns" and they should come up. There are a few Japanese companies which will ship kits here to the US and a really good UK site which ships used/assembled units and has a nice selection.

  • it would suck if when u aimed the guns at the camera and shot if the gun was loaded

    Nice vid though XD

  • Great video

  • can anyone help? I'm finding it impossible to aquire any airsoft/ gas blowbacks from the UK. a vast majority of sites providing these services is within the US only

  • where do you get guns like the mac 11?

  • I picked up the Mac11 on sale from a place called Evike here in the LA area. They have a great website and a really spiffy store if you're in the area.

  • dude, kick ass video XD and im not sure, but you might be able to remove the plug on the U.S. blank models, its not recomened to do so, but i've heard of people doing so lol, but yea, nice video and nice collection you got there(: i also have many airsoft guns, but none as good as your guy's lol(:

  • i was wondering when you are done with those guns what are you going to do with them

  • Good start. Don't forget- with most of those gas blowbacks, you can either hold down the slide release with your thumb or jam the magazine spring so the slide won't lock back every shot. That way you don't have to shoot airsoft bbs on set.

For what it's worth, I run a prop weapons rental business- Fight Designer, LLC, as well as a prop weapons rental forum connected to that. Happy to talk shop with all who are interested!

  • hey cool thanks!

  • Nice job !!

Would love to have seen some CU's of the guns you have or maybe even a link to the models.

  • Hi I liked that you use airsoft gun in you'r movies.I have a AIRSOFT Armory of my own you should see my vid's and that 1911 we tec is awesome 5 star's

  • Warpony76: I checked out your vids, you have a crazy amount of stuff in your collection. It looked like you have some of the Bell versions of the HFC Beretta. How do you like those? They work fine for films, but I've had the fire select switch break off on 2 different ones I have.

The WE 1911 is super sweet.

    -Mat N.

  • Nice vid! Yeah the second pistol you showed was the HFC M190 full auto version, i own that pistol and i absolutely love it. And what is great about it is that the barrel is exchangeable for one with a threaded end which you can attach a mock silencer to.

  • There is also a Bell knock-off of the HFC M190, which is pretty solid but some of the components aren't quite as good. I had the fire select switch break-off during a shoot. The HFC model kicks ass, tho, and I most definitely want to get the threaded barrel to add on a silencer. Great film prop for sure. Thanks for the comment!
