yes it is camera mode . i was just pointing out some of the other things you can do while in that mode. :D

yep and you also can use w a s d to move or the arrows and press z & x to zoom (i think) and e & q to move up and down.

OMG! i just got super happy, lol. i been waiting for sims to have a vacation for a long time. ooh, is there going to be room service?? and can we go surfing or water skiing? and is there an option on where we want to vacation at, or what about a cruise?? that'd be cool. like the disney cruise meets the sims, wow. lol, excuse me im just geting overly excited about the sims, im kinda crazed, lol. i cant wait for it to come out.

I think you can. All I know is that once you place a lot in the vacation destination on water it automatically becomes a beach, so I imagine the same thing for a regular lot ☺
