You may need an audio interface too. (like XLR to USB [eg. Blue Icicle or Shure X2u] or an USB mixer...)

@Gapidrummer for this mic you need a standard xlr cable with recording interface or if you want to record it with your computer get a blue icicle a $50 ($30 at amazon) which is a xlr to usb with phantom power.

great video... maybe you could use a rubber washer with the hinge to grip the metal a little better so you dont have to krank it to much?
