I have one as well but white and an 07...added a few goodies ..BBK cold Air Kit , Roush louvers, chrome tail light bezels, and polished aluminum gas cap... will be getting a SCT programmer and 3.73 gears once I put it back on the road this summer.(been in storage as there is no way I will let the salt touch it!!) .... one thing I do have to call out is the is the fact that you didn't go with manual tranny... you would have had a lot more fun with it I know I do!!!

The V6 kicks ass ('specially with the pony package) I occasionally get the "GT panges" and then I go out and hit my V6 accelerator kind of hard and I am ALWAYS amazed how quick off the line this things moves! It's a great car and a great deal...it WILL give you about 70% of the GT feel which considering the price, insurance, and gas is well worth it. Try adding a FRPP dual exhaust and you'll really have that muscle car experience.

I have a 2006 silver V6 Poney package mustang myself, manual transmission, and I love it. Only reason I didn't buy a GT was because of the high insurance, and the more gas I'd be paying. I think the V6 is worth it, it's got a lot of torque for its HP rating plus you can always throw in a nice supercharger and go from 210 HP to about 350HP without paying a ton more in fuel. And no one can tell you the V6 isn't a muscle car.. its got a huge V6 as it is.. 4.0L baby :)

most pony packages do come in auto. mine is and everyone that i have seen are. most dealerships wont get 5 speeds unless the customer requests them, people have just gotten lazy and want auto's now as much as i hate to say it manuals wont sell.

and i bought my car used so i didn't have a choice. there wasn't a 5 speed in town.
