The RSX was definitely a Base Auto. You can tell by the awkward sound it makes when it shifts. And unless the RSX driver was sleeping, I think the EP3 driver blew the horn too, so... yeah. Accurate, but predictable outcome.
Your....a moron. There's MANY reasons why an auto is slower than a manuel. Shifting faster is STUPID if your shifting at 4-5k and your redline is at 7-8k. Thats a huge loss in itself. Do some research for christ sake. (well that kinda depends on having the IQ to do it) : /
@epwookie autos also have more power loss through the transmission because of the torque converter, and autos usually have gear ratios designed for fuel economy not acceleration.

well auto shifts faster then manual unless your a pro racer, so yeah at this point it really just depends on the engine power.
