it might also be because a pathetic weakling like goku (at the time) was allowed to live and he wasnt, and so he probz is thinking "im wayy stronger than him and they tried to kill me for it... but he, a weakling was allowed to and sent to a beautiful planet like earth." cuz paragus said they were travaling to earth cuz it was a lush green pretty planet and they wanted to live there. its a pride thing. aswell as jealousy.
