  • Yay!! Your engine is now ready for storage. I love evinrude. And to the dude below, any alcohol based fuel will damage a 2 stroke engine is some way. Not just evinrude. And I don't blame them. If I sold someone a 2 stroke something, and the engine seized because they used gasohol or ethanol or something, I wouldn't do JS for them. They didn't know what they where doing.

  • better than the manual.

  • Thank you so much. I had no problems last year after watching this video. This year, I made detailed notes with diagrams and will laminate them and keep handy for next year since I can't obviously remember from year to year now!!!! (51 years old)

  • bogging the engine down means to starve it of fuel, and that means no lube to the cyl's at all so damage will occur to the engine...

  • nice engine like soon bay 50,,e tec ;)to

  • Looked at this video. Now it shows how to do it right. Instructions in the user manual are rather confusing. They didn't tell you have to advance the throttle all the way up for the final stage.

  • Buyer beware.Bomadiers does not warranty problems caused by ethenol.I had less than 20 hrs on a 2008-115hp.New fuel injectors and water pump=$2700

  • @GWHunter63 Man you got ripped. we just replaced injectors and the entire fuel system and it cost the lady 1800. And that's a hundred dollar labor rate.

  • @GWHunter63 u shoulda fixed it urself that is easy its a marine engine no different than a car engine really

  • sure takes the guess work out of it. Thanks
