Daytona testing this week, cars were reaching 198, Atlanta they usually go at least 190 through the tri-oval, and Talladega......the fastest track we had.

Also, the record qualifying speed was set by Bill Elliott back in the '80's, and he went 212.809 at Talladega.

And they usually race around 190 at Talldega in a pack thats bunched together closer than you park at the store.....

nascar is boring. every car is running a 350 and the same body styles. there would be some competition in it if all the ford cars rand ford 347s and had ford bodies, all the chevys ran 350s and had chevy bodies, and get rid of toyota and bring dodge back with a 360 and a dodge body....then there would be some real racing....
