@CraftDknits yes but it seems in the next row, it's too loose, too much slack, to knit the stitch when you come to the YO

Thanks for this hun but now I have to figure out what knit 7, yo and k2 together means I got the yo and k2together part but not sure what knit 7 means

@softwaterseven It's knitting because I'm entering the stitch from the bottom. Purl stitch is entered through the top.
