Watched the movie with my room-mate, didn't really mean to...I came home and it happened to be on so I ended up sitting through it. This movie not only reeks of pro-earth/pro-US military propaganda, but was written assuming the audience is still in the 6th grade. The 'aliens' came here for our water because it provides their fuel, and its mentioned in the film our planet is the ONLY ONE (disinformation), but if its the only one HOW THE FUCK did they get here to begin with?

I just tried to watch this movie last night. Couldn't get to the end cuz it's not very good. I didn't see hatred for aliens in this movie; of course, I couldn't finish it though. They seemed to just want our water. Can you hate someone for taking what they need? We do that all the time.

What I DID see was a movie that doesn't like the military. They made the military seem stupid, not ready for severe combat situations ( marines ? ). I agree its propaganda for sure. Just about something else.

I must agree. I've filmed the REAL alien visitors dropping from sky like meteors -- then shown as bad aliens in Battle LA movie. I've filmed them floating down and glowing like beautiful spheres -- then as bad aliens in SKYLINE movie.

Next, since I've shown it, I expect to see Hollywood movie come out with all I've filmed them doing, including transforming/morphing into bigger crafts that are MIMICKING OUR AIRCRAFT appearance....

~2 years of seeing them, and they have yet to do any harm....

space aliens have rights? they're real? like the easter bunny & bigfoot? Dracula is real & so are germlins so why isn't Hollywood bashing them in the movies they release? please be tolerant of our space brothers - show them repect, give them the freedoms & rights we Americans have - after all if they travel millions of light years just to look at us they deserve tp vote, have free health care, receive food stamps, free public education, etc. in a court of law.

You know what, he's right. I watched this in this tonight before it went of theatres and after i saw it i asked my self "what was the whole point in makin this movie?" I look past all the special effect of a movie and try to get down to the nitty gritty! I felt the same way when the movie ended. I felt like it was tryin to promote war or join the army. FIGHT FOR YOUR COUNTRY type thing. I felt that way with Avatar too. Its sublimal messages that really has an BIG affect on the brain

"To murder humans for no reason" - There's your first error, the premises of the movie was that the aliens needed our water and they knew we wouldn't give it to them so they were going to take it by force.

At most I can see this movie being a recruiting tool for the U.S. Military, but really, how the hell do you know if ET's are friendly or hostile? have you talked to them? and how would you know what the CIA and NSA think of aliens? Just more conspiracy theory nonsense....

dude u have no idea how much i agree... from the first time i wathed the trailer like 2 weeks ago..i really felt sooo uncomfortable... i really dnt want this movie to come out so ppl will not get the wrong idea of the Benevolent ET's... so when they come, ppl will not freak out and not go to the wrong side such as the underground places..... that movie really shud not come out...
