glocks and XD are totally different, glocks suck anyway. j/k no totally diferent mechanisms, the XD striker is cocked even when you shoot it, while the glock striker moves back into full compression when you pull the trigger.
the video i am gonna post is the basic do it your self trigger job, now if you want what i have, a custom trigger job, with a 1.5 pound trigger pull and no pretravel overtravel, thats a lot of work. grinding with a dremel and filing are required. if you can get your hands on a custom sear, not a drop in one you dont have to add metal to certain areas to attain a short crisp trigger pull.
Thanks so much for posting. I have the SA XD .45 in 4" Service and 5" tactical and shoot them over my HK and Kimber/Wilson, custom. Awesome weapon. Have you done anything to your trigger to reduce travel and take-up? I have seen some kits out there and didn't know if you had any experience. Thanks for posting, great video.
yup, self done trigger job way before parts were available, now i have the springer drop in parts. a video for installing the springer sear and trigger bar will be posted later today
