I would NEVER give a donation to the March of Dimes or any other charity that uses animals in experiments. Animals are not ours to use in experiments or for food or in any other manner.
BOO!! I will not be giving any money to March of Dimes. If the experiments actually equated to real usable data that prevented infant deaths, than maybe so, but there is nothing that can be gained from animal experiments. Actually make neo-natal care available and accessible, that will help people, educate mothers on proper nutrition. That's a start right there!

For example, "The antibiotic streptomycin was tested on dogs, guinea pigs, and pigs and deemed "safe" for people. But infants who were given the drug suffered brain damage, went deaf or blind, or died." Animals are so different than people that the research is irrelevant.
