  • its not pronounced tai o TOE shi its tai o TOH shi

  • ehh... i could do that if i tried.

  • just started this art and i love it

  • What if they aren't wearing long sleeves? XD

  • @pebblezthebomb Grab their wrist. Pay attention to how you move their body and how your body is able to do that.

  • These 2 should fight to the death now that would clock upa few more million views lmao

  • @IOWNYOURTURFNOW95 I'd pay to watch that lol even though they'd prob have a heart attack from the bell hahaha it'd stilll be interesting to watch tho

  • @Brock1812 lmao

  • c et de bon tehcnique

  • These 2 guys are lifeless

  • TAI- OTOSHI

  • TAI- OTOSHI

  • Is tai-otoshi

  • I did judo when I was younger and for it doesn't have the kiaing and high kicking of other arts, it's still effective and the groundwork is very rigorous. However, all martial arts have their good points: the breaking used in Korean arts usually means the practitioner has hands and feet like steel and a punch from someone doing these arts would probably put you underground and the Chinese styles have some very rapid and good hand techniques.

  • judo always wins, too many amateuers think it sucks because there is noch punching and kicking. and yes thats true, but 80% of all fights end up in a clinch.

    and then judo wins always.

muay thai + Judo = brilliant combination

  • pie u toshi. Sounds yummy.

  • its called tai otoshi btw

  • these guys are old! but i bet they could whoop some ass...haha!

  • There are just too many subleties of technique (this or any other martial arts related) to be demonstrated in a one minute video. This video is so simplistic that it almost does more harm than good. It shows the base technique without the subtle component parts that make the technique effective. The throw itself isn't done too poorly (God knows it could be better), but the over-riding concern is the lack of depth of the explanation. Too shallow a perspective on an intricate and beautiful throw.

  • the only reason they have over 130000 videos is because they only make them 1 minute long thumbs up if u agree

  • What if he has shoes on in a real life situation how do u lift his leg id just kick his shin lawl

  • this looks a lot like o goshi except you step out further and kind of trip them rather than turn them over your hip

  • woa, old guys not complaining about joint pain, but actually doing judo full speed............aaaaaaaaa

  • flexibilidad ..........

  • im gonna tai otoshi your kata guruma until you uchimata :]

  • Comment removed

  • So simple, yet very punishingly effective. Great job fellas.

  • its tai otoshi...

  • i do judo to that move hurts man when my sensie put full force in it i fliped lol dont try this at home go to a judo dojo n learn by yah self

  • You sad sacks haven't got a clue how tai otoshi is used in self defense. Geese. Try it without a gi.

  • @haffoc hey hey hey... they're old!

  • it's TAI OTOSHI

  • can judo be used in a real fight like on the street or something?

  • shut a fuck up people and learn some judo!

  • is judo gppd for felf deffence

  • @simpson4563 judo is grppt for felf deffence!

  • Most dangerous move in judo training wise. So many Knee just go oooooooooooooooooooooft!!!! with incorrectly done Tai Otoshi.

  • @Gynormagantuan We point our knee towards the ground, for just that reason.

  • alaaa soy ruquitoo y se judo =O ...

woow I'm an older person and I know how to do judo =O haha pendejetes.... asshole..!

  • TAIJ OOOUUUTTTOOSHI!

  • It'd be good if he did some combo videos like O-Uchi-Gari to Uchi-Mata to Tai-Otoshi.

  • Can anyone just watch judo vids and not argue about whose art is better. Sad.....

  • Werd.

  • Agreed!

  • @saminjon man i don't care what all these losers says Van Gogh's art is the best! XD

  • @saminjon No. It's stupid to assume otherwise on the internet.

  • Awesome. I love seeing what the western world deems as "elderly people" break falling with ease. Could it be that all we need is the proper technique to navigate this world instead of warnings against even trying? Love it. Thank you.

  • brilliant point!

  • Nice tai toshi that old man gots going on lol, and krish your severely retarted, im pretty god damn sure that judo is effective in a street fight idiot.

  • A friend of mine has a black belt in judo and he is also a bouncer. He bounced a patron on the ground once and he didnt get up again until the ambulance arrived. So yes, Judo is effective!

  • @ImprintAudio the patron clearly didnt know how to break fall :D

  • @ImprintAudio Judo & Boxing = winning combination. I threw someone who tried to choke me with a shoulder throw - & cracked their head open, so I agree Judo does work.

  • With someone who knows what there doing they can throw you in a street fight !

  • do you know the easiest throw in judo can cause a suddenly dead judo its dangerous you see the breaking falls easy but think when someone drops you on your back

  • i was trown on my back and it fucking hurts..

  • There's so many experts in youtube, LOL

  • Lo correcto seria Tai Otoshi.

  • whats best judo or karate

  • As a self defense judo is probably preferable. However, the best thing is if u are skilled in both grappling and punching. Thats why it might be a good idea to watch some mma training/ techniques.

So perhaps combine some boxing with som grappling martial art.

Also, on the street, u have to prepared for dirty attacks like knife attacks, biting, hits so very vurnerable body parts, finger breaking a etc

To defend against knife attacks, Krav Maga has some good instructions.

  • it really depends on teh fighter...i did watch this one judo v karate match once...the judo guy just jumps on him like a spider and the karate guy didnt know what to do...before he knew it he was in a world of hurt...i think id be best to be a little good and both

  • grapplers always close distance and nullify a strikers weapons.. only the MMA guys seem to know how to strike effectively in a grappling situation

  • karate sux, its just for style and looks, not for real fighting, take judo or jeet kune do

  • Grima I think Machida would disagree with your statement.

  • lol i watched that fight to ^ ^ it was nice to see evans get his cocky ass destroyed for once!

  • Hell yes.That was sweet.

I prefer muay thai over karate...muay thai is beastly.

  • I guess you don't know Lyoto Machida the current UFC undefeated Champion that has beat everybody using mostly his karate skills. Watch his fights.

  • much better than the other judo video series on expert village

  • you do not need to be waring a gi for this because normal cloths can be quite srtong round the shaulder area and to make it easer to use in the street you can use your hip to get the lift then throw

  • Master!

  • what if y0ur attacker isnt wearing any clothes? =0

  • This technic is for gi fight. For no gi fights, you have others technics or variations. See Karo Parisian or Yoshida fights in MMA.

  • your wrong you can always grab their skin and no matter what their physique is you can always and i do mean always grab their skin

  • grab the arm with one hand and grab the neck/ throat/ hair or use an under hook with the other hand.
