Now I am sitting here with tears rolling down my cheeks questioning my life, thinking about what I would have done different. What a powerful song. I'm thinking about all the people who aren't here anymore... how I would have told them every single day how much I loved them. Wow... to have that chance would just mean everything.
John Conlee sang this on Friday night at a concert at Choctaw Indian Resort... I thought he and the song were both fantastic! As someone else noted, my eyes welled up with tears...
Conlee has a good voice but he doesn't show the raw emotion that Bill Anderson and Kenny Chesney do with this song. Not quite as effective but still a good cover!
