  • A TRULY ICONIC ALBUM THIS SONG CAN STILL MAKE THE HAIRS ON THE BACK OF MY NECK TINGLE EVEN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS AN ALBUM THAT TRULY HAS NO "FILLERS " ON IT I CAN EVEN REMEMBER INTO BOOTS TO BUY IT WHEN IT CAME OUT & BEING BLOWN AWAY BY IT AND STILL AM

  • hello to a fan site dedicated to Freddie Mercury Freddie Mercury on facebook hit (Freddie Mercury) thank you

  • one of my fave Queen albums, 2nd is a day at the races.

  • One of my favorite Queen songs. Love Freddies voice on the studio version.

  • queen at their best!

  • QUEEN the best rockband ever......

  • I fucking love the Queen II album, I feel like I'm in another world or something, especially with this song. This whole song reminds me of the elf forest on LOTR, where the fellowship stops for a break.

  • This is my favorite Queen song.

  • They really never went pop, however some of their music was so popULAR that it ended up on the radio. If it was up to them, I can clearly say that they didn't want "pop pop chew chew" in their music, they wouldnt have put out music like this if they did.

  • Great piano& guitar solo!

  • Queen is so much better live

  • I love Queen before they turned pop...

  • @Kingsnake77 they never turn into pop!!!

  • PIANO ROCK! It should be on the studio version :(

  • Is simply don't understand why this song hasn't entered the charts 1974 and why it's rather unknown, because this is one of the most beautiful love songs ever written.

Every one who hears this (and has a little taste in music) would agree.

It should be much more popular!

  • To me this is pure magic.

  • Beautifull, amazing, one of Queen top ten songs, for sure...this version is incredible

  • Awesome song!

  • Love this version more than the studio one!

  • Comment removed

  • You listen to this and you realize that this is LIVE - and most groups can't get this effect in a studio...that's how good Freddie was.

This shows how deep his loss truly is.

  • If Freddie was still here....Queen would still be one of the best bands!

  • Mr. May deserves huge credit for writing this. It's so moving, so haunting... i love it <3

  • Almost nobody wrote a comment on fantastic Roger's drums. The sound of the drums makes this version (for me at least) best all around. Roger did it so well, so they give special mistic sound to it, it's a pity he didn't make it the same way in the album version. I don't know why but the drums here remind me of a sound of Alfa Romeo's 1750 twin cam engine from the sixties, crazy.

  • Superb song! Fantastic vocals! Freddie looks outstanding:*

  • Ahhh The Master! Listen to that piano! Exquistly played!!

  • to me the best ever queen track it has everything mr Mercurys amazing vocal power feeling mr taylors drumming mr deacons bass and mr mays amazing guitar very mystical very lovely to me AND ONLY ME this was Queens peak no offence to lovers of night at the opera etc but this was my era x

  • @Ken1957100 you're absolutely right ken.

  • why am i crying every time i listen to this? simply masterly!

  • zgadzam się doskonały

  • Uwielbiam tą piosenkę, Freddie jest doskonały...

  • soo agree. grew up on queeen tears to myeyes with this generation....

  • soo agree. grew up on queeen

  • @THANATOS112220 Well said, but you forgot to mention that Brian May built his own guitar that has a sound that no one else can match.

  • What Brian May could do with a simple echo-unit was out of this world... He is one of the guitarists, which I would like the most to see live!

  • His death was a God's mistake...

  • @katyakwin it wasn't Gods mistake it was freddys

  • very DEEP and beautiful lyrics

  • QI & QII are in a league of their own, nothing before or since can compare to the originality and musical story these albums deliver, these are perfect works of art!

  • what an awful crack at 1:48?

  • Queen has everything you want in a band. Four awesome songwriters, an amazing lead singer that no one can compare with, a perfect drummer who can sing so awesomely, A badass guitarist like no other with his guitar sounding as if it was from another world, and a bass player who sounds just right for any sound no matter what it is. They even got character and personality that makes them even more fun band to listen and watch. To me, the greatest band to ever appear in Rock and Roll history.

  • Thumbs up to every comment here.

  • This is my all time favourite Queen song :)

  • Freddie sounds like an angel <3

  • Amazing piano:)

  • Just genious.

  • Thank you Lovely Darlings! What a charmer Freddie is? Just a beautiful, sweet man. We miss your music and your presence in this world, Dear Freddie.

  • freddie the best forever!!!!!!I love you!!!!

  • Anyone who would actually think to call a band like Queen "sellouts", really doesn't understand Queen...OR music. At all. If you go back to Queen I, their first album, in 1971, their music has ALWAYS been varied and ecclictic. It was never just "rock" or "proto-metal", though some of their songs certainly fit that bill. They had ballads, weird songs, great songs, of ALL styles, on every one of their albums. So know your Queen, and get a life.

  • please reupload this. out of sync in the middle

  • This song is addictive beyond belief, as most Queen songs are!

  • Beauty, poetry and rock - Queen!

  • Cannot find the words to describe of what I'm feeling during listening to this awesome song. Brilliant!

  • I saw Queen around 10 times from 1974 - 1997 and believe you me the best years were the early ones around this time.

  • @randycornhole I agree.... Big style change during the disco era and they never came back....

  • There is a LONG story for me with this song. Basically, the song explains how a person is so much in love with a woman, yet he is afraid to tell her. Every time he sees her he melts, yet she cannot see how badly he adores her. His darkest fear is that he will wait too long to tell her, and at that point it will be too late, for she has found another. Such is life, eh?

  • Too bad uploader didn't sync the audio. It goes outta sync in the middle. Disappointing...

  • LOVE THIS !! Queen ' White Queen' covered by new band I Am A Camera .. check it out.

  • One my favorite songs from Queen.

  • 12 dislikes??!!!! WTF??!!

  • Even after two great albums, Queen apparently was making no money, thanks to their greedy management. It wasn't until after 1975 and Bohemian Rhapsody that they really saw an improvement in their income, and became know worldwide, and changed management, of course :)

  • Hey, .........No Synths :-)

  • Q I and Q II forever, the best albums ever made

  • @MrBosuil Definitely!!

  • @MrBosuil AGREED!

  • Brian May really is a brilliant guitarist!!!

  • Freddie is the sexiest guy I've ever seen on a piano! LIVE ON, QUEEN!

  • The best rock album of all time!

    from: Brazil

  • This version really does sound superb, magnificent atmosphere.

  • If anyone has this on mp3, share? This version is my favorite, and playing the youtube video over and over isn't easy to do all the time!

  • @TricksterMyth1 go to vidtomp3.com

  • I think this is my favourite live Queen performance. I loved Freddie's stage persona during the 80s but everything about this concert (and this song in partticular) just feels very special. Vocally mind-blowing and the whole band just sound spectacular. I was only 8 years old when Freddie passed away. I will feel sad for the rest of my life knowing that I never got to see QUEEN in their majestic glory. What a great fucking band.

  • @arapoda You missed a treat thats for sure! best live band ever and I had the privilage of seeing them several times and am so glad that you appreciate them now excellence will out!! XX

  • 12 people are deaf.

  • I saw them 5 times in concert. Okay, I lied. I never saw them live. But thank satan for YT! I've watched 100 vids of them. :)

  • saw them this tour at Newcastle City Hall

  • IT's Sooooo dificult for a band to play live without the choirs you have in a studio......but again......queen does it, no choirs... just freddy's voice. And they rearranged the music so it could be done live, and what a job....the song stays powerfull and emotional.........Queen forever!!!!!

  • This is perfect.

  • @sara1893

    Perfect choice of words sara1893

  • Saw Queen, Aerosmith and Mott the Hoople together in Harrisburg PA in the early 70s. Mott the Hoople was the headliner. Queen and Aerosmith were no-name backup bands. I was in a daze by the time Mott the Hoople came out. Never seen anything like it before or since.

  • They're so great!!! Freddie, you're so sexy and good-looking!!! I Love you for ever. This song is so beautiful! Thank you very much, queen, to write so great songs!!! Wihtout you, I'm nothing!

  • This song is greaat.

  • I loved the early Queen but didn't like the direction they took after Sheer Heart Attack but Freddie always was an outstanding artist ... what a voice!

  • I LOVE this song whole bloody record!! <3 <3 <3 <3

  • You're my life <3

  • i have been raised by Queen's musicn my father being a fan of them...but it is lately that i figured out how much the 60s mentality makes the occidental male guilty of everything, also feminising him. feminists, gays, & other movements stand always against the western straight male, until they will destroy him.. making him giulty for everything. Hopefully this fucked up ideology & propaganda put on a beautiful song will end soon. "Where you gonna hide from the hell you've made"?

  • @7numrat

    WTF?

  • @alnomesamy lol go listen to "white man"

  • @7numrat

I know where "Where you gonna hide from the hell you've made"? came from but the WTF was for the comments before it :)

  • wow

  • The live version Hammersmith odeon 1975 is a slightly better.

Fantastic music. Keep your lady ga ga and all that pitty stuff.

  • Such a great talent. Brian is an absolutly great song writer & guitar player. Freddies voice is amazing. The whole group is amazing. What great artistic team work. Lucky for us all they came together in life & created all their wonderful music for us to enjoy.

  • is perfect!!!

  • love the piano section

  • Beautiful song - could it be the origins of the "gothic love metal" genre? (popular in recent years, but never done as well as this).

    Such a wonderful performance too!

A slight shame most of the video doesn't match the audio but that's only a minor point. Thank-you for posting!

  • Very good song!!

  • So sad....

  • They need to put this out on Blue Ray.

  • @bijeleudovice2 I think the 70's were the Golden Age for Queen. I love the epic and dramatic songs, they're magic!

  • Where i get this??????????

  • The song, the voice, the band...utterly untouchable. So sad Freddie left so early. Nothing will ever compare to such talent, Mr Bulsara I raise my hat to you sir.

  • mi chiedo chi siano quei coglioni che hanno cliccato su "non mi piace".....

    che si fottano!

  • Q II is a abolute great album....one of my top ten

  • Freddie was in my dream last night...there were 2 of him! One of him looked like he did in this video, the other one looked like he did in the video for Don't Stop Me Now....I wonder if that's a sign for something

  • @daniellemr85 ...Nice!! I've been trying to dream of Freddie forever, w/out success. And you got Two of him.....Nice!!

  • beautiful, beautiful :)

  • beautiful, i love you Freddie, i love you QUEEN S2

    - Live at Montreal 1981

    - Live at the Bowl 1982

    :)

  • i Like this song, so beautiful, en sad...

  • Hate Queen?

    Really?

  • @bluesknees don't say that Queen is a sell out band. Not in this video.

They had a side of which I'm not a big fan, I agree with you. It hurts to listen to something like Hot Space. That sell-out side isn't a honest Queen.

However, before Freddie's death they were honest with theirselves and once again composed beautiful songs in the album Innuendo, recovering the complexity and beauty they would show in the beginning.

So sad it ends. As it began.

  • Comment removed

  • @bluesknees Rdio Ga Ga is taking a stab at the crap that was playing on the radio Roger's daughter heard a song on the radio and she said "Daddy that is Radio ka ka" so he wrote the song. Each band at one point "sell out" otherwise they dont make enough cash to stick around long enough for you to hate them.

  • @easye1973 It was Roger's son.....

  • @bluesknees Yes it is!!! Queen in the 70's were the greatest!!!! Queen II is so sophisticated, clever, complex, visionary, beautiful...... Queen in the 80's were a hit making machine!!!! Roger even used a bloody drum machine on Radio Gaga..... the man who originally claimed 'no synthesisers'!!!!! They returned to some level of sophistication with Innuendo, at least. I love Queen, but Radio Gaga makes my skin crawl: I just see 'sell out' written all over it!!!

  • @stravinsky99

yep, 70's for me too, forgot the tour , but at the end this had tiny drumset lowered in, and they did played some honky tonk for the encore.

10's of thousands of screaming fanatics, serious theatrics, major sets (3 hour gigs), illegal DBs worth of amplification ;) .... you just don't see gigs like that anymore....

  • @bluesknees Queen - a sell out!? I don't think so! How about the most innovative, most eclectic, most amazing, & best band ever! So versatile, so much risk taking in all the music genres they dared to explore. They're totally awesome!!

    QUEEN'S THE BEST!!!

  • @FREDDIEFREAK9 Well, They are Not the best. There are 5 other bands competing out there for that title.....What I like about them is that they had a very unique sound, no one sounds like them, while others can sound like, say, Beatles, or Led Zeppelin.

  • @FREDDIEFREAK9 they sold out time and time again. I could never get tickets to their concerts.

  • @DieFatorLiveThin....I think that was a misunderstanding of language. Of course Queen's concerts were always sold out; they were the absolute best, ever!!

I was responding to a guy who disparagingly claimed that Queen was a 'sell-out,' meaning they caved to the popular mediocrity, which, of course, they never did.

They did things their own way, whether popular or not, and pioneered a new 'rock' landscape where no rock band ever went, dabbling into opera, ballet, and so many varied genres. Queen!

  • @FREDDIEFREAK9 well Queen were commercial but not to the extent of selling out and making crap for money. They wanted to be the big rock band although they never said hey this will make millions even though it's crap. They did what they wanted and are the perfect band. Wish Freddie was still here :(

  • it's sad that freddy died way to young, but on the other hand, the "final" albums are brilliant, and if Freddy didnt die, i guess those albums wouldnt excist. altho Queen II is the best album they've made

  • Comment removed

  • This gives me chills

  • lol queen 2 is my favourite album francho and generally regarded as one of their best albums. i have to say though iv never heard this version of white queen and iv been a queen fan since the 70s lol

  • Upon Freddie's brow I'll lay the lightest kiss. He was so beautiful.

  • @LegoMarine I beg to differ. Is*

  • Woooow this video is a ma zing!! I think that this live version it´s even better than the original, totally amazing!! The people that were there or in the others Queen´s concerts were so lucky!!

  • Francho292006: Queen is extremely popular here in Brazil, just like in Argentina! That´s one passion in commom, just like soccer but without any rivalry, you know!

  • best song ever

  • Queen RULES!!!

  • hi, i am 14 years old, from argentina, and i must say, Queen is a religion to me, And Brian is my God, they are the only thing in mi life, i can´t live one day without listening at least one time to Queen they are the best band of the world for ever, and this song is one of the best songs, we are practicing it whit my band, i Think Queen and Queen II are 2 very underrated albums, they must be more known.

    Sorry for my English

  • Kocham Cię Freddie

    Queen, najlepszy z najlepszych

  • Ja Ciebie też. Freddie

  • you know how hard its meant to be for me i was only born in 1998. so i didnt get to see them either. and... i realy wanted to ..

    :( so sad...

  • @gretos1975 You're just 12 and you listen to Queen? OMG, I'm sooo glad to know that! Queen must live forever, you know, the show can only go on if it does so from generation to generation. :)

  • Im 13 and i LOVE Queen. But i got to say i'm CRAZY about Freddie

  • With a name like MrsFreddieMercury7, that's no lie!

  • Hi friend, I am 14 and i love Queen too, i Think that we are the ones who have to keep listening to Queen and make our Friends listen to them, when i entered to my school i meet a boy (that now is the bassist in our band ) and now he is as fan as me, The show will go on with boys like us

  • he wernt strictly gay, he actually would shag either women or men, whatever interested him when he was horny !

  • s t u p e n d a !!!!! ancora più bella dell'originale !

  • This song is so so very good..Queen II is my favorite album of all time. What other band fuses hard rock, metal, glam, prog, folk, and baroque into one incredible sound?? Only Queen could pull that off.

  • @TheChugulator

I agree heartily with your pick of Queen II as the best album. I don't think I've met anyone else who appreciates it as much as me.. so, Nice to meet you.

every note is timeless perfection. It's been 30 some years and I can still listen to the whole thing, my kids have even grown to love it. How can they not?

  • @mrknowitall326 Usually I say Queen 2 is my favorite. It's a very tough choice though, isn't it? Any of the first 6 albums could easily be my favorite Queen album. Or 7. Or 8. It depends entirely upon my mood at the time. :)

  • my favorite albums are Jazz, A night at the opera and The miracle :)

    Freddie Mercury is THE BEST!!!!

  • @TheChugulator you have an excellent point

  • QUEEN FOREVER AND FREDDIE RULES!!!!

  • fantastic sound

  • OMG!!!!! I just love them , I cant stop listening to them . So AMAZING is QUEEN!!!!

  • @MERCURYLOVEOFMYLIFE I can´t but agree. Once you´v listen to Queen it´s impossible to stop. Queen and Freddie will live 4 ever ! ! !

  • freddie i love you :D

  • @ReneeNme, you're very lucky to have gotten to see them. I was only 6 when Freddie died, so I didn't get to see them, I just recently discovered how amazing they were, until then, I only thought of them as "the guys that sang that song on Wayne's World" but I'm finding out they were so much more. And you're right, today's music is crap.
