@riellograndma what happened though was the Titanic did hit an Iceberg. This is true, but when the ship made contact with the Iceberg it ripped a hole in the ships base, which then allowed the water to enter the ship at amazing speeds. Basically the Iceberg was the Cause, the water was the Sub Factor, and the Effect was the Titanic sinking. None the less, it was by both of those that the ship went down.

actually, they did a museum tour of the artifacts so many people have touched them, including me. At the beginning of the self guided tour they gave you a piece of paper with a name on it and at the end of the tour there was a wall with all the names of the passengers on it. Then you would match your name to one on the wall and find out if you lived or died. It was eerie.

So if anyone was still alive in the rear when it went under, they eventually (after couple of minutes) died, either by the pressure of the water breaking the windows or the water reaching them from the inside

i does not flood THAT fast. it basicly took 2 hours and soe minutes for it to flood. and in the beginning, depending on where you were, you could hear NOTHING and you most certainly did not feel it either. The flooding from upstairs could however be because of the watertight compartments. when the first one floodes, he water flooded over it, meaning that the ones still bellow could see the water come down on them. however, I do think you would feel the tilting more and more first.
