@DSNYSANMAN I was thinking the same thing. I'm no expert on these cars but it does look sort of like a four door sedan that has had the rear doors filled in an converted into a 2 door car. Still looks good, though.
I am not sure why it sounds a lot better than a stock Viper. The engine is stock except for having the computer re-programmed to run without cat converters. and add about 50 horsepower.
It is ready for the strip, but I just found out that because I moved the battery to the trunk I need to put a kill switch on the back of the car. I ordered one so hopefully it will be ready to pass inspection in a few weeks.
Great project! For your tires and wheels, you might do like Jay Leno did with a '55 Buick. He had some bigger wheels made with lower profile, high performance tires. Just looking at it, you thought you were seeing the originals. If I remember right, the wheels were designed to look like the original hubcaps. They were black near the outside edge, with a white stripe outside of that. It looked like the hubcap, then a whitewall tire started.
That's very cool

You should go ultimate sleeper and get some Eagle GTs cut into whitewalls on steel police interceptor rims with stock hubcaps.

What catbacks or I guess just mufflers since you have no cats? :)

@frgmstr
I used Spintech mufflers. I have another post with my first 1/4 mile run, and also a post that shows the bottom of the car with mufflers.

@BigJimbo59 I've heard some vipers that sound like this, but they've had some mods done to them!
Did you get to take this beast to the strip yet?
