This makes me remember a part of "Wrap your troules in dreams" from the album "The Alternate Blues", that was recorded in the "Trumpet Summit" session. There is a part of this tune where the band stops, and the only two playing were Clark and Ray.
Thanks for attending, recording & posting such a great performance (I call this one "Back-o-hedz", for obvious reasons).
Elf's way of humming along w/his solo adds a nice effect. And Clark is fabulous, as usual. His marvelous sense of humor always comes thru in his music. A true legend of jazz trumpet.
It's just little room! I would like to be there!

The guitarist is the very wonderful Mr. Mark Elf, playing his D'Aquisto guitar. "Autumn Leaves", of course. Thanks for sharing this little treasure!
