But anyways, great little tune and sound, i got a line 6 floor pod plus, 6 different delays, tons of other effects, fully modifiable. Always fun to just mess with the settings and make something crazy. Did you upgrade the 250k pots in the tele?

The guitar or the pedals? The Tele Deluxe is made in Mexico, not Korea. The PS-5 is made in Taiwan.

I was talking about the tele, I found out somewhere. Thanks though! You'd think guitar distributors like guitar center would have that in the description of the guitar considering most people worry about where their guitar is coming from, not everybody has a shop locally to go in store to check.

I believe the choices for Fenders these days are either Mexico or USA. I think also they include American in the model name if it was made here. On the strats look at the serial #, mexican starts with mz. Not sure about others including teles.

its a boss ps-5 pitch shifter, similar to the whammy, but alot more fiddely, get the whammy

It used to but I fixed that. I shielded the whole guitar and had the pickups reworked. There is a gap between the pickups and the cover that shouldn't be there and will cause squealing/humming.

can i ask how you had the pickups reworked... i have a problem with my pickups squealing when at high gain...

I sent them out to Motor City Pickups in Detroit. He fixed the gap and rewound them with better wire to 8.5k.

Satriani has an amazing amount of ability on guitar! I just think he overuses some effects, like delay. Respect is automatic for someone with that amount of skill.

I'm looking at getting this guitar. Sounds really cool. I bought a DT Whammy 4 off a guy on craigslist, and it doesn't work right. :( Pitch shifting is sweet, though . I love going up 2 octaves for solos and stuff.

Yeah, I just started learning songs from tab books. Startrd with Neil Young, then Zep, Hendrix, SRV, etc. I was never one for practicing and instruction books.
