Guile flowchart: 1. throw occasional sonic booms 2. wait for opponent to make a move 3. do a random flash kick 4. crouching roundhouse..... crouching roundhouse again 5. jump for no reason while mashing throw 6. do a random flash kick from full screen 7. don't block crossups 8. never use any other normal besides c.jab, c.short and c.roundhouse 9. put on the shades

1. How do I defend against quick opponents like Ryu, Chun Li or Fei Long? Say what you want asbout Shotos but they are quick and they can smell blood.

2. Combos are tricky enough with non charge characters but how do excute them with characters?

3. There are some that requie me to zig zag my joysdtick, like charge then press the buttons oging northwest then punch? Any shorter way to execute this? As I can handle forwards, backwards, up and down but zig zagging is a tricky beast.

90% of guile players play lame. Spam cr. RH to SB, air throw, jump in kick once throw. cr. RH to flash kick. They also just like to walk backward spam sonic boom and once they get in the corner jump backwards fierce or RH. Most all of them just turtle and lame it out. I've seen probably 6-7 good guiles since ssf4 came out. Please learn some combos.

there is no "cheap" and there are no "scrubs". the point of the game is to win. if someone is spamming, it should be easy to predict and counter.

..anmd the video is lame (like i said in my first post) because, come one, HAHAHAHAH, like if good guile's out there only used HK, TBH, i dont see many HK's on good guiles, i know pretty well i can get a dragon punch a medium kick in between the first and second kick of that low HK. Good, because to us Guile's shows us not to use low HK that much... and to be aware of the weakness of our guy.They say, if you know (well) your abilities (what can, you cannot or should do), and unknown the ones of your foe, both have the same odds to win. Its not when you EX cancel it..Most scurbs dont even know how to do that tho so dont worry,just pray you dont run into a Guile that knows what hes doing that.The Sweeps can be used to confuse players especially when EX canceled.

you can do a five hit combo if you are really a rank player theres a lot of opening in sweeping types

just jump do flying side kick do the combo you want

The typical thing about a turtle is that he isn't aware of himself being a turtle and start complaining when other people turtle as a response. It's because they're used to other people giving him one chance after another to counter. But when their opponents refuse to give chances starting to turtle as well, they can't do anything. Turtles need opportunities from the air or forward attacks.

I'm confused on who the scrub is? Ryu or Guile? Considering Guile can't be a scrub he doesn't have any moves that he can keep spamming. And no the double foot sweep is not a move when everyone has the exact same thing. It actually leaves him unguarded for a lot longer than other characters if he doesn't land it. Ryu through Ken are the scrubs.

I see your point, but here's the thing. Ryu can do the same thing, Ken can do the same thing, Sagat can do the same thing..the only characters you see doing it though are Ryu and Ken because they're scrub as hell. And besides fireball spamming flamers are so easy to kill when you just focus cancel out of all of their shit and build up your ultra. So predictable to, when you get close just duck and wait for them to spam their uppercunt. play ps3 version, their isn't a lot of little kids scrubbing
