I have some other lens I think the maker is MAGNICON, it even has a filter.
I got this camera for free, it was found in the laundromat of a building I used o live in. Someone just left it with some books on Photography for whoever was interested to just take it.
People would often leave magazines and other things for people to take.
Yeah, I tend to use the rule of thirds as much as possible, but sometimes a picture just looks good without it :-/. I've never had lessons in photography so really I just try and frame it the best I can.
The UK is great, especially up North with the peak district, lake district and Yorkshire moors. I live about 10 miles away from the start of the moors, so that's where quite a few of the landscape pictures were taken.
I just took a course in high school. I used to be really into photography, and even got private lessons from a local journalist. I'm not really into that anymore though.
You have a lot of potential, I hope you get every opportunity to improve your photography, It's really awesome.
Thanks! As it happens I might be getting another camera, or perhaps even two or three given to me :-o. I was at home over the weekend visiting my family, and I got talking to my nana about photography, and she's told my mum that she could give me one of my Granddad's old cameras because he had a collection of them (he was a bit of an enthusiast). This means I can use my cameras for different reasons, like using different ASA films in each one, so I can have a day-cam, and a night-cam :-p
I don't know what a deviantart is, lol :-p. I have a flickr if that's similar. Dan_89 or you can search for the_lyricist, either one should lead you to me,
Turns out he had 9 cameras and they've all been sat gathering dust for the last 5 years, so I'm getting them all! Some of them are from the 30s, the old concertina style ones, lol. Amazing, I had no idea until this weekend my family kept any of his cameras :-o.
Really nice pictures
I have the same camera, just not the same lense

@In2Tech I have the original lens as well, but I usually use the zoom. I quite often use an Asahi SV now as well. Glad you like the photos. :-)

Do you know about the rule of thirds?
I can see it in some pictures but some of them don't have it and could use it.
Lots of these are really great. :D
Makes me want to go to the UK cause it's so beautiful. :)
Good luck!
