lol... This is Fifa 09, the games are usually finished a month or two before release, really towards the end couple of months they are just making copies of them. This was about a month before release and its not impossilbe to get your hands on the game before it released it also could have been a demo.
fifa is too slow in gameplay...it's a lot more realistic than pes in terms of atmosphere and all but it's no fun to play. The are just terribly animated as well, you don't get the feeling that you were the one who struck the ball into the net 100%
I couldn't explain why whit it's better graphics, licenses, stadiums, atmosphere and all that, I can't play more than 5 game of the Manager Mode before I get bored and that's because of this. On the other hand I have PES also, with worst graphic, less teams, less stadiums, not to good atmosphere, but I have played like 8 seasons in Master League by now, and there is no chance to simulate games, so I have played all the games.
Play with Ronaldo or Messi, you could run from one end of the pitch to another in literally 11-12 seconds, which is exactly a real life comparison. So you saying its too slow isn't correct since the players move at exactly the same speed as they would in real life.
That's not what i meant by slow...it feels slow...if you watch a real match from the stands it's not gonna be any faster than that, but for a videogame i didn't like it

Both in terms of graphics and gameplay, the pc version is def better than last year's version. But, compared to the next gen graphics (ps3, 360) the pc version doesn't come close. The players look chunky and the grass doesn't look good. Just buy a 360, they're not that expensive now.

PES have had a better gameplay than FIFA for years, but this time PES loses on everything. It is not that FIFA is getting a lot better, it is just that PES is almost getting worse year after year...
Also i play pro evolution from october till I get bored which is about febuaray then have a break and come back around may till august at which point i wait for the new versions of both. What is most important is gameplay. The kits and audio r just side products and on that basis I say pro. not that fifa is a bad game but their efforts are spent updating the kits every year instead of delivering real quality.
This game lacks substance like all the other fifa games since 99. fantastic kits and brilliant comentary that is the only advantage but can anyone explain the need to put teams in division 2 which no one will ever use or even play against. The dynamics of pro are far more advanced. My problem is being to open minded about fifa and i always get a copy when it comes out and they always let me down then i have to trade it in when pro comes out

try manager mode. Be a Pro only lets you control one person whereas Manager mode lets you control the whole team.

This game lacks substance like all the other fifa games since 99. fantastic kits and brilliant comentary that is the only advantage but can anyone explain the need to put teams in division 2 which no one will ever use or even play against. The dynamics of pro are far more advanced. My problem is being to open minded about fifa and i always get a copy when it comes out and they always let me down then i have to trade it in when pro comes out
