when i think about this song being sung as a goodbye song to someone who was loved dearly, it makes me want to cry... thank you for this. it puts perspective on the song and life in general... you do it justice. Thank you.
I've only seen a few covers of this song, but I think this is my favorite.
It seems though that the better covers are by people who the song actually means something to. I lost a dear friend a few years ago and think of him whenever I hear this song too. It's been almost six years, and it's still so unbelievably weird to think of.
