Looks great, love the interaction with the rocks. Feedback: The angle of incidence needs adjusting for the balance between refraction and reflection - the water should reflect more when looking at a low angle. Also, the wave scale is big enough against the surrounding that there should be an illusion of wind shown, but the trees are dead still. If tranquility is supposed to be communicated, I suggest reducing the intensity and scale of the waves when out of shallow water.

My 4870 can't handle Crysis at max, I'm not sure how you can.

When it gets intense I tend to get frequent lagspikes, otherwise I get'em only when going to new zones, which I dare blame on the fact that the card got a merely amount of 512 mb gddr5 :/

Why did you play in DX9 when the 4870 is a DX10 capable gpu! I know the 4870 is a powerful enough card to run Crysis at full DX10. My older 8800GT SuperClocked Edition which i had highly overclocked ran Crysis like a dream at 1680X1050, now I upgraded to 2 GTX 275 OC Editions in SLI which destroy anything and everything.
