However, 1) it definitely did not cost LSU the game, and 2) if LSU fans are going to argue that call then they've got to argue the celebration call against Georgia too. Just like this very bad call, the georgia call was indeed very bad too. Just like the Tennesee no call, the Arkansas one, and the miss state call. All of those calls were in close games, and they all affected the outcome of the game period. By the way, the first foot was clearly in, and the second foot was in also. You only need one foot in in college. Everyone, I repeat everyone knows that we got screwed; except for Alabama fans. All it takes is one good play for LSU to make to take the lead.
It is impossible to say with complete certainty that he had one foot in bounds. The angle "appears" that his foot was in, but at that angle, it is not a straight shot down the line and that is why they did not overturn the call. It wasn't clear enough even with the best angle the camera's had. They looked at every angle several times in the replay. All of this was discussed on ESPN & they showed each angle they had. So, no.. not "everyone" except Bama fans are saying this. It was questionable.
With or Without the foot in, Alabama would have won the game. With 5:00 Minutes left in the game, LSU with no time outs, and the way Bama dominates the fourth quarter, they weren't going to win. And if i recall, there clearly should have been a pass interference flag thrown against LSU in the 1st quarter, but the replay videos weren't working, so they couldn't be sure.

Even with another LSU touchdown (which is highly unlikely) the score would have been either 24-21, assuming they miss extra point - 24-22 if they got the point after or 24-23 if they converted a 2 point conversion. And, if that had happened, Alabama would not have went "safe" play and take a knee. They would have pressed down the field for at least 3 more points if not 7. The Tide won this game.

I also don't recall LSU fans bitching about the no call on obvious pass interference in 2004 in Baton Rouge for a pic six. (yes 2 hands to the chest knocking someone down is pass interference). However, 1) it definitely did not cost LSU the game, and 2) if LSU fans are going to argue that call then they've got to argue the celebration call against Georgia too. That one gave LSU that game to a greater degree than this one helped Bama. That call was obvious but unreviewable; this one was borderline and reviewed. Geeze the interception was a bigger deal because if we take the ball down feild after that for a touchdown and extra point we win depending on if Alabama has enough time to get a late feild goal. Just like this very bad call, the georgia call was indeed very bad too. Just like the Tennesee no call, the Arkansas one, and the miss state call. All of those calls were in close games, and they all affected the outcome of the game period. By the way, the first foot was clearly in, and the second foot was in also. You only need one foot in in college. Everyone, I repeat everyone knows that we got screwed; except for Alabama fans. All it takes is one good play for LSU to make to take the lead.

It is impossible to say with complete certainty that he had one foot in bounds. The angle "appears" that his foot was in, but at that angle, it is not a straight shot down the line and that is why they did not overturn the call. It wasn't clear enough even with the best angle the camera's had. They looked at every angle several times in the replay. All of this was discussed on ESPN & they showed each angle they had. So, no.. not "everyone" except Bama fans are saying this. It was questionable.

With or Without the foot in, Alabama would have won the game. With 5:00 Minutes left in the game, LSU with no time outs, and the way Bama dominates the fourth quarter, they weren't going to win. And if i recall, there clearly should have been a pass interference flag thrown against LSU in the 1st quarter, but the replay videos weren't working, so they couldn't be sure.

Actually, there where alot more bogus calls in the entire game. Go back and watch the first drive and look at the spot on the 3rd down run with jordan jefferson. BAMA didn't beat LSU, the officials beat LSU.

And by the way, I never complain about losing or do I make excuses for my team losing, but considering the circumstances of this game and other games in the SEC this year I can not help it. So call me cry baby all you want. I have a very very legitimate argument on this one. And I have a good feeling that this will not go away on the national scene. The SEC has been exposed too many times this year. Other conferences should be pissed. It is also not fair for them. The NCAA needs to do something!

Ok, fair enough. But can you point me to any video that CLEARLY shows that NONE of his shoe was NOT on the line? I have watched all the replays from the networks and none CLEARLY show any separation of his shoe and the line. Now... for the sake of argument, lets say it was an interception. With no time outs QB Lee in the game and the stats of the forth quarter - Can you honestly tell us that LSU would have went on to win this game? Seriously. Can you positively say that?

Mike Slive got exactly what he wanted. 2 of the top ranked teams playing each other in the SEC championship game! This year has been the worst officiating in the SEC that I have ever seen. How many complaints have to be filed for them to see that they are shafting teams!

I will assume you don't agree, even though it was that crew that was suspended for bad calls that did affect the game outcome. Yes, the outcome - That was stated in the press release regarding the suspension.

Yeah, I don't get his math either. He is just upset and is locked on one moment of a 60 minute game. Even with another LSU touchdown (which is highly unlikely) the score would have been either 24-21, assuming they miss extra point - 24-22 if they got the point after or 24-23 if they converted a 2 point conversion. And, if that had happened, Alabama would not have went "safe" play and take a knee. They would have pressed down the field for at least 3 more points if not 7. The Tide won this game.

F**** the SEC officials! Alabama did beat up LSU physically. Charles Scott fell on his collar bone, Peterson had cramps, and Jefferson sprained his ankle. Regardless of the stats LSU was ahead for most of the game. I remember being down by six and thinking we need a big play. And then Peterson intercepted the ball! We had plenty of time left to run down the clock, get a touchdown and extra point, and ice the game! That chance was taken away by the officials! Most of the nation knows this!

Peppsi, yeah even with that LSU lost 24-15. LSU needs to eat some beans and taters next year if they want to play the Tide again. I think more time was spent on injury timeouts than the actual game itself. Tigers lost because they're not championship material and you better be when you play alabama or you'll geaux home wiping your eyes with your crying towels. You would either have to be blind or just plain stupid not to realize that the "fix" was in to make sure Alabama won that game. Far too many calls that killed drives and changed momentum were only directed toward the tigers. The officiating crew for this game SUCKED. When will the SEC and NCAA realize that old, fat, and half blind men can't call this young mans game. BIGEinbama were you a member of that crew yesterday? It would have explained some of those many one-sided calls.

The officials are being very careful about overturning calls since they have been getting in trouble lately. A few got suspended even!
