You got the look perfectly! Other makeup artists tend to put a little extra colours, but you got it perfectly. And I've been searching for this for soooo long time now! Thanks Lisa!!
Lisa, pleaseeeeee, could you do a tutorial on Bella's vampire make up ?? I think it really shows how you can change a face using make up, her transformation is amazing !
@bluevioletnova : yes aboslutely ! (but I think it's done by computer lol ). There are many Bella's vampire make up tutorial right now on youtube (since the Target sneak peak came) but I think Lisa is the only one that can do it well
Odd question: Does applying eyeliner make your nose run? I always notice you do this kind of sniffle inhale thing every time you begin to apply your eyeliner in every video. It's quite cute tbh :)
I just put this on, I thought it looked very pretty but when I walked down stairs my mum took one look at me and said "What is wrong with your eyes?" I have now removed it.
I have enjoyed watching your videos for quite some time now. You have such an amazing talent and are fantastic in the way you communicate the look you are achieving. Thank you for sharing!
@micapetey thats a good idea... also try using a waterproof Gel liner or a waterproof pencil ... good ones are available from many brands now (Bobbi Brown, MUFE, Avon, Mac etc) x
I have been watching (and learning from) your videos for a long time now and have successfully tried many of your looks but for some reason, I can not manage to make this look good on me even though it seems like a pretty simple technique! . . . I either get too much/thick liner on the top or in the wrong shape or I blend it away too much and it ends up looking dirty. . .I dunno what's wrong with me. . . ;)
you have so many awesome nail varnishes... could you please do a video on your favourite ones? they always look so perfect, do you have them done professionally or do you have another talent??? love your videos :D
@EnjoyTheNail She smiles. Just because she doesn't smile constantly doesn't mean she can't. People like you only look at all the pictures where she isn't smiling.
im going to london this weekend.. what's the best place to shop make-up on oxford street? im not looking for the most expensive brands really. i'd like to find a shop with all the different highstreet brands
would you mind doing a make up tutorial for small eyes? I have small "Asian" looking eyes and using eyeliner only makes them smaller and I would love to see the actual steps you described for people with smaller eyes. Thank you :)
I dont care for Kristen whoever, but done a similar look for years BUT with so limited skills that it always looked messy. Now I saw the little tricks how to do it, and will give tham a try. THANK YOU for sharing with us!
I watched this video for the first time a few months ago and I've been using this vaseline trick almost every time I wear eyeliner. Thank you so much it was an awesome tip :)
you hair reminds me to kate beckinsale, your face reminds to this actress, whos name i cannot remember (i think she was in a tv serie, cant remember which one hehe) but, she speaks like you too. lovely video
@Victrixiux if you are using powder eye shadow... do the eyes first and the foundation afterwards. That way you can clean away any powder which has dropped down first. With pencils and cream shadows its fine to do foundation first x
I love that you simplify everything and that you also give tips that may be more suitable for everyone. Thank you. Quick question: would gel liner work for this look as well? Pencils never worked for me. Thanks! Xoxo
i have really big eyes or well...droopy and im only 18 -,- anyways...when i smude liner on my lower lash line..it tends to look even droopier..any tips to make that not happen?
I love love LOVE this look Lisa! It's now my every day look. I love doing it with other colours of eyeliner as well, plum and olive-y shades look gorgeous.
If I hadn't seen this video, I wouldn't have known how harsh and aging solid lines look on the eyes. you smudging the line makes it look so gorgeous and soft. as always thanks for sharing, you ROCK!!
Thank you! I adore this look! Also, if you haven't already, I definitely recommend that you try the cream liners from physician's formula. Very much like the Bobbi Brown liners but at a more affordable price. They stay put with a nice collection of colors :3
I can't tell you how many times I have watching this video, definitely one of my favorites of yours, and you're probably my FAVORITE person here on youtube. I feel you're so genuine, you really care, and you're not in it for the money!

One possible reason that organic products are so expensive in the UK vs. the US is that the US has no overseeing regulators for organics in cosmetics. So I'd take that 'organic' label with a grain of salt.
It would be really cool if you could do a tutorial for Asian eye make up. I know you had that bit about smaller eyes, but most of us Asians have creaseless eyes, and regular eye makeup almost never works for me. Thanks a bunch!
I tried this and have done it the past two days. It looks great and is so simple to do! I would have never otherwise thought of using vaseline when smudging it.
Miss Lisa, You are so smart! I love all your tutorials and I love how you know what you are talking about instead of others that just babbble on and on. Thank you!
I have a question, is it more ideal to put eye liner first, then put on eyeshadow or vice versa? Oh, and i realise that Estee Lauder's eyeshadow (Delux Eyeshadow Palette, it's dark blue) is quite light. And my skin's quite fair so it looks as if i've got nothing on. I want to make them darker, but even though i've put on quite a lot, it makes no difference. how should i fix that?
@lisaeldridgedotcom Unfortunately yes, I liked it a lot because of the price, and I thought that since it was organic it would be better for my skin and such, but my skin just could not handle it :/
@darkchii91 you could use a waterproof pencil or a waterproof gel liner instead, as they tend to stay on longer in that area. Many brands do waterproof liners now (benefit bad gal liner waterproof for example) x

i've been looking for a tutorial on theses eyes for such a long time! but the keyword smokey does not explain how different this "smokey" is. thanks!!!
Dear Lisa, I've tried this look several times and it sure looks great on my hazel eyes (very similar to yours actcually). Only, no matter what pencil I use (MUF Aquaeyes, Clinique, Urban Decay...), I get flakes under my eyes really quickly...
I'd like to wear it for an album release party, would you know of a product I could use that would make it last longer on the lower lash line ? Some primer/finishing spray... ?
I did this look today and one of my co-workers kept commenting about how good it looked. She said that my eyes looked "BA-BAM!" and that they were really defined and striking. Success :)
astounding advice- cheers!, any of you used Rimmel's newest product line?! it's quite hard to get hold of cosmetics in Chilton yet i managed to get some brilliant cosmetics samples through "Gratis-Makeup-Samples"! theyre awesome!
awesome helpful hints - thanks, any of you used L'Oreal's newest product line?? it is hard to get decent makeup in Stone Park but you can obtain great samples of makeup by using 'Gratis Makeup Samples', they're handy.
This is amazing!! I just put it on to go out to the movies with some friends, and it was a fantastic hit!! And the best part is, it doesn't take the exact products you used, what I had at home worked great! It looks spot on, especially since I have her eye color. I've been searching for a good tutorial, so thanks so much, I love it!
You got the look perfectly! Other makeup artists tend to put a little extra colours, but you got it perfectly. And I've been searching for this for soooo long time now! Thanks Lisa!!
