Wow, I really am an antagonist fangirl lol. When Lestat "died" I was like "NOOO!!!!! HE MUST COME BACK! PLEASE!" And he did towards the end. But once I saw him I KNEW he wasn't going to be that sad piece of dust for the whole movie. This is my favourite part of the whole movie. My friend showed it to me yesterday, on account of I have never seen it, and when Claudia killed Lestat, I was devastated and the thought running through my mind for the rest of the movie was 'What about Lestat?' and then Louis found him, living off of rats and I was happy for his return, but sad at his state. And then this happened, and the only thing I could say was "Best ending EVER!"

I re-watched this film last week and thought the same thing. But then it occurred to me: Lestat could read people's minds. Maybe that's why he took some time before biting the interviewer. He learned how to drive in less than 5 minutes, haha.

It’s so funny because he's not being sarcastic; he really has been listening to Louis rant for centuries!
