Like when they pay a fortune for some food that was always some peasant food that tastes horrible but was only eaten to avoid starving, but is now rare so they can prove I'm so wealthy I'm willing to pay a fortune to eat something disgusting!

its all about keeping up apperances, and being seen to be up to date, all the while they are spirling into debt and has a wife about to leave them, at the end of the day,we are all the same, i suppose the same can be said for youtube, if you made a video everyother day, in a year youd have just as many suscribers as the big names, all you need is time, i have time,but im not in it for fame, just friends like you :)

Crumpets are a bit more work than I want to deal with, but if you ever go to Seattle, at the famous Pike's Market there's a little crumpet shop-the only one I know of for hundreds of miles-and that's all they do is crumpets, coffee & tea! So yummy!!!

I'm doing good! I got some Devon Cream, imported from Britain for Christmas from my mom and some home made strawberry jam from my friend Tana, so I'm planning to make some scones later, which is the best thing for Devon Cream and jam!

LOL! Devon Cream is somewhere between cream & butter. It's vacuum sealed in a jar & is good for a few months but can't be shipped during the warm half of the year & is only good, unopened, for a few months, so it's hard to get here! I figure my mom got it at a tea house that she, my sister & I go to in Salem, which is owned by some people from England.

Ah! Coming from cool, rainy Oregon, which I love, I do find someplace like San Antonio exotic! I've been 3 times- more than any other city I've traveled to, first by myself, then with my brother to see our cousin graduate Air Force boot camp, then taking my sister for her birthday. We all had so much fun there!
