  • favorite band.. favorite car..favorite color...DUDE YOU ROCK!

  • NO one will probably see this comment since this post is so old but nice ride....I have a 71 panel wagon that I'm rebuilding right now and these videos keep me excited!!! :)

  • @cyclurafan Yes they will these cars are fun .

  • Nice car

  • 76 vega front end

  • nice ride..

  • Sumbitch is sweet, but needs 2.5'' off the top.

  • that car is sweet, but looks like a 75 to me

  • @jimlahey1000 Just the front end its what came on the car when he got it . I like the 71 frontend myself, if you look at the rear bumper its not 75

  • Very nice paint and color. I need to know if it has a flip front end, there seems to be a large gap between the door and the front fender. Nice anyway!!!

  • @locoSS66 no it dosent but it has no wheelwells so you get more light behind the opening and they might be a little wide it is a fiberglass frontend

  • Mark, Is it for sale. Im a cash buyer.

  • @DaveTheyCallme I dont think so but i'll ask him when he comes over to see his camaro thats got a 572 in it that i'm doing for him

  • @DaveTheyCallme I'm Steve i did the body and paint and wiring. I talked to Mark and he said everything is for sale for the right price, But if you think your going to buy it for a song think again it's a 9 second car and streetable except for wipers.

  • i had a 78 sunbird wagon i put a 76 trans am front bumper on it ez fit it looked just like a trans am wagon

  • i just think they make them look horrible

  • @akamires18 Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, But what is it that looks so bad ? it looks better than they ever did new from the factory and sure runs a hell of alot better ;)

  • @wdodgeboy cmon is all that horse power necessary? over the top and useless i think

  • @akamires18

Its a race car and he drag races it and he can drive it on the street if he wants.

  • @akamires18 Necessary? Absolutely! Over the top? Not at all! Useless? I think not! Especially when you can take a young lad who is a bit full of himself and strap him in for a nice ride.... Usually achieving three things; They shut their yappity-yap traps along with emptying their rectum and bladder... Much to the relief and amusement of all that have previously tolerated the little know-it-all :-)

  • fuckin shit ass americans ruining the classics

  • @akamires18

You do the math small 4 banger or 498 CI Big Block LOL ;) , Most of them were dead and gone within a few years this one survived

  • beautiful from bumper to bumper

  • @xsmokedoutx

    Thanks ;)

  • Nice car but should of kept the 71-73 nose. Cleaner look.

  • @chopperjack40

I needed the extra 4 inches to fit the big block and 4 core radiator.

  • That's one hot Vega! Bet one tap of the accelerator causes whiplash! Also love that AC/DC song Shoot to Thrill. I was disappointed that there was no under-the-hood shots, though. I knew someone who put a big block V8 in a '76 Chevy Monza back in 1990 (I think it was a 454), but he had to junk it because he didn't properly stregthen the frame, and twisted it.

  • I'll probley do another video and i will show under the hood ;)

  • 70 Hemi Charger, you got to love it! Now that is a killer Muscle car. That is a rare car in this day and age. Definately a keeper. Cheers

  • I agree ;)

  • You did a great job. I had a really hopped up 73 Nova SS, pics. of it on My Space page. My dad was a car painter/ bodyman so he did all the work for me and I did the drive train. I remember a really nice nice tubbed big block vega when we use to cruise years ago. It was one fast car. It was flawless and the engine compartment was all stainless.

  • Thank You Very Much, All i have is a 1970 Hemi Charger 4 gear ;) lol but i like it. I'll have to check out your nova i have a couple of friends that have Nova's Yenko Clones I've done some work on.

  • Honestly I have not seen a Vega in years. Back in the early 1980's until the mid 1990's when I was into the muscle car and cruising seen they seemed to be everywhere. I had a few friends with V8 Vegas and they use to be more common than the stock 4 cycliner factory cars. Then they all seemd to have vanished. Definately a keeper if you have one. The station wagons seemed even more rare.

  • This 1 belongs to a friend of mine i did the body and paint and a few other things to it. I used to have a 1971 hatchback with a smallblock rollcage and shorten rearend but its long gone :(

  • Nice job man!

  • thanks it was 11 and a half hours with a paint gun in my hand, House Of Kolors Candy Apple Red Over an Orange Metalic Base and then crome paint on the bumper.

  • the wheels look gay!!

  • Its not my car but i dont think they look bad

  • How hard is it to put a 454 in my 74 Vega or would a small block be better? The suspension is stock?

  • a small block would be a better fit and i think they make a convesion kit for them

  • yep 71 vega with 77 front clip just look at rear bumper, common mod to put later front clip on early vegas.

  • Yep

  • hate to break this to you, but that's not 71 Vega. It's a 77

  • 71 77 frontend look at the rear bumper

  • Nice ride!

  • Thanks ;)

  • i gotta cosworth vega have no idea on how to do the rear ende im not using stock rear for 350 and trubo 350 tranny

  • You will have to have 1 cut down and have all a 4 link installed

  • The rear will hold up as long as you don't go to crazy with tire size. The rear is a 7.5 in 10 bolt. The same as s10 trucks and 3rd gen camaros.

  • My Dad had one some time ago. He had a built 350 in it. About 400 hp. We took it camping alot. Well very nice!!!

  • Thanks

  • sorry i was just wondering?

  • No problem

  • but dude i dont think its a 74 dognose i think its a 1977 vega dognouse because the turn signals are hidden?

  • The turn signals are out of a ford and i put them there along with drilling all the holes for the grill and light holes that were not original for that front end and is it really that improtant? . The car is titled as a 1971 it has a 1971 rear bumper on it but the lower valance is not the original 2 piece plastic i made i 1 piece metal but thanks for being so critical.

  • dude i dont think thats a 71 vega

  • Yes it is it just has a 74 doghouse on it , Look at the ass end

  • very nice sound fellow vega owner

  • Thanks, The owner just told me he's got the new motor in the car and dynoed out at 650 hp.

  • sweet

  • Thanks Alot

  • Sweeet Wagon!

  • Thanks, It belongs to a friend of mine i did the body and paint and a few other things to it.

  • well its says right in the description its a 454..you are a magician if you can tell the sound of a 383 versus 454. they can sound the same there guy

  • I told crsmith i would post another video showing the motor so he can see.

  • How were we suppose to know it had a 454. Sounded like a 383 Stroker to me.

  • Well i guess you will have to take my word for it for the time being thats what it is. When i have more time i will post another video that will prove that it is a 454 i have nothing to gain by saying it is when you think it isent. It's not even my car i just did the body and paint and a few other things to it.(make sure to check back to see)

  • Yeah, you should do another video showing the engine and interior and all that. Nice work.

  • Thanks next time around maybe in a couple of weeks gettin ready to paint my sons car. Thanks agin

  • When I want the best ehhh...? Well the best would have been to see the fucker burnout or at least stand up. You hinted to that with the music; however, without the music I would have been extremely pissed. But, I digress...very nice car, strong sound and B-E-A-utiful paint and body. Very IMPRESSED!

  • Thanks alot Keep in mind this is not my car so i really cant stand on it like it was mine but it going to be out this summer and maybe i'll get some new shots of the owner gettin into it. It should run mid to low 10s without to much trouble. The paint is house of kolors candyapple red.

  • As far as the best coment that was just for my work i can only do what they want or can afford

  • Well, then I completely understand. Wouldn't expect anyone to beat the shit out of someone else's. Can't wait to see more. Please, let me know.

  • No problem hopefully this summer he just put a new motor in it .

  • Nice wagon dude,Ive got a 77,with a harwood 74 front clip,full chassis,sbc on gas.Hope to be shakin it down in July.

  • Sounds like a hole lota fun

  • Awesome car. I am going to build a 71 BBC vega. Did you buy the conversion kit to install the BBC from someone or was it fabricated. How bout the oil pan, where did you get that from? I know the SBC are "notched". Also, where do I go for fiberglass hoods. Thanx Rick

  • Thanks The Car belongs to a friend of mine.

The Frame is a pro built chassie look in any hotrod book you should be able to find glass parts. If not give me a hollar back at my yahoo address

  • Fuckin gorgeous

  • Thanks Its a project that several people started and never got done. Mark bought it and i finished The body and paint.
