  • how much?

  • pretty sweet, check mine.

  • Your shits tight, but what happened to the top left LED?

  • 1. Fanboys should all be killed, Nintendo, Xbox, and Ps3 alike.

    2. Nice run on sentence.

  • ok fuck you and get the fuck off youtubne

  • that shit is DOPE!!

  • Fucking epic lights. Fucking. Epic.

  • LOL

  • :D It's true!

  • can i get the tutorial for the led lights . i ordered off ebay from you. or can you just tell me what to do.. thanks..

  • my type controller extly (very nice)

  • how did u grind it down

  • I used a grinder and a clamp to hold it.

  • fucking sick

  • Thanks.

  • You know some XBOX 360 controllers come in blue like that right?

  • Yes, I painted this months before those controllers came out though.

  • How do you paint them so nice like that?

  • I take my time and paint the right way. Clean the controller good before painting, spray with lights coats and apply 2-3, leave time to dry before touching the controller.

  • Okay, thanks.

  • Spray paint right? I'm pretty sure it is, but making sure. What do you set it on to not smudge the paint while its drying?

  • Yes, I spray it on a piece of cardboard and let it dry on that too.

  • Spray paint right? Making sure. What do you set it on so it doesn't smudge while it dries?

  • I think that's all I need to know. Hopefully no more comments lol.

  • hey, how long time will it take for the paint to disappear?

  • Like for it to rub off, it hasn't yet and it has been a year.

  • whered you get those leds I dont know where to get them and have been starting think about taking them frome my remote since they look the same but its a dish remote

  • You can get the LED"s from the internet. They are SMD(surface mount) Led's.

  • thnx

  • what kind of store could i go to get the bit i need to take apart the controller

ive been told its a torx 8 security bit some one plz tell me where i could ge it

  • You can get it at just about any hardware store: Menard's, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, etc. You will need to grind the sides of the bit down though for the bit to be able to fit in the hole and unscrew the screws.

  • you know that you can buy a control that color right?

  • Yes, I realize that now. I made this controller before those blue controllers came out in the store.

  • Looks Awesome 5*, what kind of paint do you have to use for this? and, do you have to open the controller even if you're just gonna paint it w/o the led change?

  • You can use any paint but the best is paint for plastic or Krylon Fusion. Yes, if you paint the controller you need to open the controller.

  • the white LED'S are the gem :)

  • Thanks, they do make it look better than the stock green.

  • does any1 know a video that shows the tool 2 open the controller cuz i cant find a tool

  • To open a wireless controller, you need a T6 security bit, T6 stands for Torx 6 if you didn't know. The only problem is that you will need to grind the T6 down a little bit to allow the bit top fit in the hole and get to the screw.

  • a man how did you change the led to white instead of green?

  • You have to desolder the green LED and then solder in the white one.

  • hey man, thats pretty amazing, but im pretty new to painting controllers... any tips that will help me not mess anything up...

also, how did you just paint the bumper... like in some videos i see that people paint the whole bar instead of just the bumpers

  • I painted the whole bumper. 2 tips) 1: Use paint for plastic and 2: make sure you let it dry plenty before hadling it.

  • alright thanks man, but i meant like some people paint the whole bar that is attached to the bumper, like the part that goes over the plug and play charger input at the top

  • You don't have to paint all of it, just make sure the part that you see is fully painted.

  • Did you sand any?

  • Actually this one, I just clenaed the controller off good and just gave it one coat of paint for plastic which usually comes out very good.

  • i bought ana ctual blue controller instead lol

  • Yeah, I made this controller before the blue ones came out or at least before I ever say a blue one.

  • ooo okay

  • That was a sick controller dude i liked the blue flashing lights

  • im painting mine 2morow but im not sure what color i will paint it yet

any suggestions that will show up real nice on the controller?

  • Pretty much any color will look good on the controller but if you do a combination, make sure the colors go well together. Also I would suggest getting paint for plastic, it comes out a lot better with this.

  • ya thats wat i plan to do, i want a color that no one has seen on a xbox controller and also looks sick.

BTW is there any need for a clear coat shine on top of the paint?

  • If you want a color that no one has seen, you can go to an autozone or just an auto shop and look at their auto paint and they usually have good colors.

  • sick

    thanks bro

  • No problem, let me know how it comes out.

  • hello i have white primmer, but i only have acrylic paint will this work?!?!?

  • Usually, I don't prime it. I will usually use just special paint for plastic like Krylon Fusion, which you can get from Walmart. Or just look for paint that says "Paint For Plastic" on the can, I think that Rustoleum makes one too. Otherwise what I did with the orange controller was just clean it very goods and give it like 2-3 coats of the acrylic paint but make sure you give it time to dry fully in between coats.

  • sweet ass controller man

  • Thanks a lot dude!

  • How did you make the light on the guid button blue?

  • You have to take apart the controller and then use a soldering iron to take out the tiny almost microscopic smd led's and then solder new ones in. You have to know how to solder pretty good to do this. If you really want to, look it up on google and i'm sure you can find a tutorial.

  • Cool!!

  • ...u can by a blue controller...

  • I know you can now. I painted this controller before they came out with the blue controllers. But it does have the white RoL which is cool.

  • nice i have the same thing but it dousn't light up white 5/5
